  1. Murphy on the boardpublished at 16:11 Greenwich Mean Time 22 November 2020

    Cavan 0-5 Donegal 0-2

Cavan have made a lovely start, but giving Michael Murphy space is a big old no-no.

They drop off the Donegal legend and he makes them pay with a long score.

But Cavan aren't deterred, Conor Madden is on as a blood sub and takes about 30 seconds to score his first point.

  2. Confident Cavanpublished at 16:10 Greenwich Mean Time 22 November 2020

    Cavan 0-4 Donegal 0-1

Lovely, confident start from Cavan as they break up Donegal's first attack and launch a counter of their own, but James Smith fires wide.

Peadar Mogan takes charge of Donegal's next attack and gets his side off the mark with a fine score, to add to his brilliant breakthrough campaign.

Cavan retake the lead moments later though as Oisin Kiernan is afforded to much space and duly obliges with a point.

It's Gerard Smith's turn next, feigning to shoot on his left before spinning onto his right and adding his side's third.

They just keep coming! Shaun Patton botches his kick-out and Ciaran Brady drifts into space and beautifully puts it over.

  3. Smith gets things goingpublished at 16:05 Greenwich Mean Time 22 November 2020

  8. Murphy's moment?published at 15:47 Greenwich Mean Time 22 November 2020

    Cavan v Donegal (16:00 GMT)

Michael Murphy has not been the star of the show in this Championship, not because he's been off the boil but because he hasn't had to carry Donegal in the way we have seen him do in the past.

Michael Langan, Peadar Mogan and co have all helped lead a Donegal charge which, up to this point, has looked pretty convincing.

Tyrone put up a good fight but the holders saw them off before romping to victory over Armagh.

We are just treating it as another game - we're just delighted to be in an Ulster final. We are aiming to bring our best game to the final. It's important we don't give Donegal a foothold early on so we know we have to hit the ground running from the start.

    Cavan v Donegal (16:00 GMT)

In the strangest of years we have had the strangest of Ulster Championships, played on heavy pitches in front of empty stands but still providing us with considerable excitement and escapism within the madness of 2020.

519 days after the last Ulster final, Cavan and Donegal are back again to fight for the right to call themselves kings of the province.

So, will it be a Donegal three-peat or will the Breffnimen go one better than last year?

Dublin await in the semi-final, a nice easy task no doubt. But for now it's all about Ulster.

Take your pick of how you want to consume today's game, it is of course live on on BBC2 NI, or you can listen to the match on BBC Radio Ulster 94.5FM or on BBC Sounds.

The coverage starts at 15:30 GMT, lets hope it's a good one.
