We knew we were in for a serious challenge today. Serious work rate; serious intensity. Them boys had something remarkable about them today. I'm proud of the whole team. They put their bodies on the line. Some last ditch defending with some remarkable performances all over the pitch. Every team goes out with the hope of scoring goals. It was just good to see that bit of work pay off. We'll regroup. We have some tired bodies there. We're glad to to be there.

Tyrone haven't quite had to wait for 70 years like Mayo, but 13 years is a long time for a team who had got used to the taste for success.

They'll go head-to-head for the biggest prize in football on 11 September.

With Kerry getting three of the last four points, they are just about still in this game but with Kingdom personnel falling down on the Croke Park turf with cramp, this contest is now firmly Tyrone's to lose heading into the second period of extra-time.
