The two forward lines are better than the two defences and it does have the feeling that it could turn into the shootout. Kieran McGeeney will be really annoyed with how Armagh have conceded easy scores.

When you come to Croke Park you have to get your basics totally right and Galway haven't done that. Armagh may have got away with a few loose passes out from the back but they have looked so much more composed than Galway already. They have been able to get their defensive set-up right and have been very solid at the back.

Galway needed that. Matthew Tierney sends one high but it's good!

Galway are looking comfortable in possession but they just can't find the clinical edge at the moment. Rob Finnerty lashes one wide.

In contrast, Nugent goes up the other end and extends Armagh's lead. It's up to three.

You can't give Rory Grugan that much space. He lands one right on the roof of the net.

The fact Ethan Rafferty came out allowed Armagh to have an extra man there and they made the most of it. Armagh have pushed up heavily on the kick-outs meaning Galway have had to go long.

    Superb by Armagh.

Rory Grugan races forward, finds Nugent and he puts it on a plate for Rian O'Neill, who does the rest.
