Dean Harrison got Peter Hickman right in the eye with some champagne. There are plenty of smiles as the winner wipes his eyes.

That must be such a great feeling after almost two hours of flat-out racing.

After all that, Michael Dunlop will have to wait another 12 months to equal his uncle Joey for the record of TT wins.

Nonetheless, four wins in a week is not to be sniffed at and it's safe to say he's back!

After all of the racing, we think that is a relatively happy Senior TT podium. They've all earned a bit of a rest after that one.

It was breathless to follow, never mind to ride!

  7. 'We've finally cracked it'published at 14:15 British Summer Time 10 June 2023

    Hickman wins Senior TT

Peter Hickman, Senior TT winner: "She [his Superbike] has been a bit of a pig for all of the two weeks. She has been taking me for a ride, rather than me riding her. The team have a done a fantastic job and the team have been working so hard to figure out what it was. Until this morning it wasn't rectified. Yesterday it still wasn't right. Today, in the warm-up, I went down Bray Hill and knew that we've finally cracked it.

"Dean got out of the right side of bed this morning. Michael has been fantastic all week. It is amazing and thank you to everyone. I think a few people thought I was making excuses [after Sunday's Superbike race], but I'm not that kind of person. I had a little bit more left in the tank but Dean lifted off with a lap to spare. Thanks to everyone. My thoughts at with Raul's family [Raul Torras Martinez, who passed away in the first Supertwin race], who is not coming home this weekend. He was a good friend and my thoughts are with him."

  8. 'The pace slowed down'published at 14:13 British Summer Time 10 June 2023

    Hickman wins Senior TT

Michael Dunlop, third in Senior TT: "I thought we would have definitely went quicker. I tried something [with set up], I thought the pace was going to get faster. We should have been well into the 36's [136mph] but the pace has slowed down a wee bit, I'm not sure why. We made a bit of a change to allow for that but then we lost a bit. The boys are pushing hard and it was going to get hot and heavy. It took a lap or two to get settled in, we ran out of a bit of scope really.

"There is only so much you can do. That is the way it was and we always try to go faster. At the end of the day we have won four races this week. We could have won more, we could have won less. That's the way it goes."

  9. 'It was a hard race'published at 14:05 British Summer Time 10 June 2023

Dean Harrison, second in Senior TT, speaking to TT+: "I've had six races and six podiums, and second in the Senior. A win would have been nice but everyone has trying to do the same. Thanks to the team, the bikes have been perfect. It's been hard and and I've time for a bit of a rest now. I said I was going to go from the start and put my head down. I pushed on and got a rhythm. I had a couple of issues mid race but nothing major I want to complain about."

Dunlop and Hickman are scrapping over the Mountain. Dunlop is having a look but can't make the pass. Will he make the move before the line?

Further up the road, Harrison is through the Bungalow for the final time.

Hickman is now +20.548 ahead. It's not a touch but it won't matter at this point.

When it's the final lap then you really appreciate how beautiful a place the Isle of Man is. And how lucky we are that there is one of the best circuits in the world smack bang in the middle of it.

    What a combination.

All three are running outside of lap record pace. We'll forgive them after Hickman's stunning lap yesterday.
