The scene is set and the excitement is building.
Scarcely could we have imagined a better written script than the one that has unfolded on the Isle of Man this week.
Michael Dunlop, back to his brilliant best, has won four races, including a return to the top step in the Superbike class, and sits one victory shy of equalling the total of wins achieved by his uncle Joey.
Peter Hickman, has taken three victories, and needs one more to achieve a second four-timer in consecutive years.
The Lincolnshire rider broke the absolute course lap record in Friday's Superstock outing but will be going all out to regain his crown in the feature class of the meeting, having had to give second best to rival Dunlop in the Superbike race six days ago.
With conditions perfect, as they have been throughout the preceding two weeks, that lap record may prove to be short-lived and must surely come under threat today in what we hope will be a thrilling finale to race week.
It's time for the big one!
The Senior TT is the the jewel in the crown and it's the one that everyone wants to win.
After a crazy day of racing yesterday, we're set up for a fascinating duel between Michael Dunlop and Peter Hickman.
Northern Ireland's Dunlop is aiming to match his uncle Joey's record of 26 wins around the TT course.
Hickman, on the other hand, has been the form man in recent years and won yesterday's Superstock race with a record average lap of 136.358mph
You can't discount Dean Harrison either, who has been sweeping up the podium finishes in every race and is ready to pounce if the other two slip up.
