    Derry remain unbeaten in 2024 thanks to a convincing 13-point win over a disappointing Monaghan.

    Shane McGuigan once again top-scored for the Oakleafers finishing with 0-11 to his name.

    The Derry goals all came from defenders. Conor McCluskey striking in the first-half with Newbridge wing-backs Padraig McGrogan and Conor Doherty finding the net in the second half.

    Jack McCarron top-scored for Monaghan with 0-8 who are now looking at another fight for division 1 survival.

    After sharing the games opening four-points, Derry left Monaghan reeling by opening up a six-point lead by the 18th minute.

    After Shane McGuigan claimed his sides opening five scores, Ciaran McFaul weighted in with a double before a Conor McCluskey goal put Derry firmly in the driving seat.

    After a Joel Wilson point from play, the best Monaghan could offer were two Jack McCarron frees.

    The Farney face an uphill battle in the second half if they are to get anything from this one.

    It's all over in Cork! What a finish!

    After being two points up as the game headed into additional time, Stephen Sherlock looked to have dragged Cork to a draw.

    But there was drama to come Oisin Brady and Paddy Lynch fired points over at the death to grind out a big win for Cavan, who held on despite Sherlock's point with the final play of the match.

    A Jack McCarron free brings first-half proceedings to an end at Celtic Park, but it's been a half dominated by Mickey Harte's men.

    From a total of 1-9, six have come from the boot of Shane McGuigan with Conor McCluskey grabbing the games only goal.

    It's been another impressive showing from the Ulster champions who have only kicked one wide in the opening half.

    Conor McCluskey scored a goal when the sides met in last year's Ulster semi-final, and he has just found the back of the Monaghan net again.

    After being taking a pass from Ethan Doherty, McCluskey drove the ball hard and low into the bottom corner of Darren McDonnell's net.
