    It's all over at Breffni Park, where Cavan and Meath played to a draw.

    Meath had a chance to win the game in the final moments but Ciaran Caulfield's effort hit the posts.

    Cavan went down the other end, but they too couldn't find a winner, with Ciaran Brady firing wide.

    The result probably leaves both sides disappointed as Armagh and Donegal remain in the top two spots in Division Two ahead of their game tomorrow.

    Superb points from Daithi McGowan and Jack O'Connor either side of a Paddy Lynch free have pushed Meath's lead out to four going in at the break.

    Both sides have yet to play to their true potential, but the visitors are full value for their lead, as they have shown the more quality over the first 35 minutes.

    Cavan have been poor so far and are perhaps lucky to only be three points down, with just 0-2 on the board through half an hour.

    Manager Raymond Galligan will be looking forward to getting in at half-time to have a word with his players, who have been very sloppy in possession and devoid of ideas in attack.

    Meath then had the ball in the net, but it was ruled out because the ball went in directly from a fist pass, as Daithi McGowan wasn't able to get a touch on the ball.

    They do have some consolation however, as Ronan Jones has doubled their lead.

    Cavan's Oisin Brady's night is over early and he is replaced by Caoimhin O'Reilly just 22 minutes into the game.
