Louth are growing in confidence against the breeze helped by the fact that Donegal are down to 14 for the next ten minutes on the account of a black card to corner-back, Mark Curran.
Sam Mulroy and Ryan Burns shoot over to cut the gap to one, Oisin Gallen doubles the home lead with a much needed score, individual brilliance from the flame-haired forward.

Down are controlling the space between the 45' and the 'D'. Sligo seem happy enough to sit back and allow this.
The ball is eventually played in and a mark is won by goalscorer Doherty. He converts it and further extends Down's lead.
Down are very patient in attack, working the ball and carefully selecting the right pass.

There's a sense it could be one of those days for Antrim as Dominic McEnhill rattles the crossbar from another goal chance.
They have also passed up some further scores from frees with Westmeath just that bit more clinical with their opportunities to maintain the three-point gap.
Still, just a goal in it heading down the home stretch.

Shane O'Donnell finishes a swift Donegal counter-attack, opting to shoot over the bar, the goal really did look on!
But, it's double scores and three between the sides.

Down are in the zone!
Ceilum Doherty bursts through the Sligo defence and hit the net.
Sligo react to the goal from Down and also conjure up a chance of their own however it comes off the post and is cleared by the Down defence.

Sligo giving away very easy frees in very scoreable positions.
Pat Havern slots over two of them from right in front of the posts. A three-point lead for the Mourne men.

Darragh Canavan ends 19 long minutes without a Tyrone score.
During that time, they went from 0-7 to 0-6 down to 0-13 to 0-6 behind, conceding six points in a row.
It's brief respite though, as Sean O'Shea lands his fourth point of the day.

After missing two placed balls you'd expect a player of Sam Mulroy's calibre to convert, it's third time lucky for the Louth full-forward, not letting his confidence waver, the sign of a real elite forward.

Down work the ball out of defence and into the hands of Daniel Guinness and he puts it over the black spot.
The Mourne men are playing with a high press and it's causing some problems for Sligo.
Sligo then weave their way through a very well set up Down defence but Niall Murphy's shot goes wide.

A good start to the second half for the visitors who began to dominate the ball but just as they threatened to pull away when three up, Antrim steadied.
A beauty of a point from Dermott McAleese has trimmed the deficit back to two as the hosts remain within striking distance.

Louth are working the ball well through the hands and when the opportunity presented, Ciaran Keenan landed a fine score.
At the other end, Patrick McBrearty knocks over a difficult free before splitting the posts with a monster effort under real pressure. That's 0-4 already for the Donegal captain.

Down finally get up and running from the boot of James Guinness.
Almost immediately after Guinness' score, Sligo earn a free but Sean Carrabine sends his shot wide.
That's Sligo's second wide of the day.

Kerry pick up where they left off and David Clifford points a free inside two minutes to make it five unanswered points either side of the break.

Alan McLaughlin gets things under way for Sligo. His shot bounces off the upright and with a stroke of luck goes between the posts.
Down carry the ball into the Sligo half, moving the ball with intent. Daniel Guinness has an effort however the ball veers wide.
The Mourne men are still in search of their opening score after a Ryan Johnston shot is blocked by the Sligo defence.

Conor Laverty makes three late changes to his Down side. Ryan Magill replaces Paddy McCarthy with the Mourne men making a double change at midfield as Johnny Flynn and Ryan Johnston come in for Odhran Murdock and Shane Annett.
Just one change on the Sligo team as Luke Towey replaces Eoghan Smith.
