    Pairc Esler, 14:00 GMT

Today’s game is of huge importance for both Down and Clare, as the winner will be promoted from Division Three and increase their chances of playing in the All-Ireland Senior Football Championship later this summer.

However, whoever loses – provided Westmeath don’t slip up against Sligo - will be consigned to another year in the third tier.

Down make two changes to the side who drew away to Westmeath on St Patrick’s Day, as Niall McParland and the injured Caolan Mooney drop out for Jonny Flynn and Oisin Savage.

Clare come into the game in fine form following four consecutive wins. They make just one change to the side who bested Antrim last week: Mark McInerney is out for Emmet McMahon.

    Down: J O’Hare; P Fegan, R McEvoy, C Doherty; M Rooney, P Laverty, D Guinness; J Flynn, O Murdock; D Magill, L Kerr, R Johnston; O Savage, P Havern, J Guinness.

    Clare: S Ryan; M Doherty, R Lanigan, M Garry; I Ugweru, A Sweeney, D Walsh; B McNamara, G Murray; E McMahon, C Downes, D Coughlan; J McGann, A Griffin, C Murray.
