    We're waiting for the full surge as they press high but leave gaps and from a kick-out, Derry engineer another goal chance but Comerford is equal to Lachlan Murray.

    Conor Glass steadies Derry with a point but they almost bag a third major as Ethan Doherty rounds Evan Comerford but Eoin Murchan is back to clear off the line for a 45.

    Glass does convert as a goal is the gap once more with 15 to go.

    Niall Loughlin extends the Derry lead, but Dublin hit back with the next three through Tom Lahiff, Ross McGarry and Con O'Callaghan.

    Just under 20 to play and this is finely poised.

    That first half flew by.

    Derry did well to absorb the blow of the Dublin goal and crucially didn't allow the Dubs a second as they were certainly looking to engineer one.

    Shane McGuigan and Colm Basquel traded late points but Lachlan Murray right on the whistle, from out on the right, sends the teams in level at the break.

    Cian Murphy and Brendan Rogers trade points, but Derry's Diarmuid Baker forced into a good block as Niall Scully pulls the trigger in front of the Hill.

    Derry get level through Eoin McEvoy but a Con O'Callaghan free edges Dublin back ahead. Con not happy with the challenge from Chrissy McKaigue there at all.

    The game hit a bit of a lull after the goal with two Laughlan Murray shots off target - one confirmed by Hawkeye. Up the other end go Dublin and Seán Bugler stretches the lead.

    Derry go 15 minutes without a score but Murray does find his range when fisting over.
