"It's always good to be in a final, a big final at Croke Park, and another chance to play the Dubs," said Harte.

  3. Derry and Dublin ring the changespublished at 15:39 British Summer Time 31 March

    Dublin v Derry (16:00 BST)

One year on from Dublin's win over Derry for Division Two honours, the sides are back at Croke Park today for the main League honours having come first and second in Division One.

There's every chance these teams will meet again before the year is out, but even so, today's final has a bit of added intrigue as both will be keen to lay down a marker for the upcoming Championship and strike. psychological blow.

Derry have been the form team so far, winning six of their seven games in the League - the sole defeat coming against Dublin. That was a night in which Derry boss Mickey Harte opted to rest some regulars, but that is not the case today as the Oak Leafers target a first League title since 2008.

Conor Glass starts at midfield and is partnered by Brendan Rogers who was an early replacement for Gareth McKinless last week, meaning Conor Doherty reverts to wing-back.

In further changes from last week's win over Roscommon, Padraig McGrogan replaces Donncha Gilmore on the other wing, Ciaran McFaul is in at centre-forward for Declan Cassidy, while Niall Loughlin gets the nod ahead of Conleth McGuckian at corner-forward.

Despite last week's thrashing of Tyrone to punch their ticket to today's final, Dublin manager Dessie Farrell has made two changes from last week as John Small and Séan Bugler replace Lorcan O'Dell and Daire Newcombe.

    Derry: O Lynch; C McCluskey, C McKaigue, D Baker; C Doherty, E McEvoy, P McGrogan; C Glass, B Rogers; E Doherty, C McFaul, P Cassidy; N Loughlin, S McGuigan, L Murray.

    Dublin: E Comerford; S MacMahon, C Murphy, E Murchan; B Howard, J Small, S Bugler; B Fenton, T Lahiff; R McGarry, K McGinnis, C Kilkenny; C Basquel, C O'Callaghan, N Scully
