    They are tied together through Station, and although Cooper pulls away, Hickman manages to hang in there.

    HANG ON, here comes McWilliams! He slots past Hickman, who returns the favour on the brakes!

    Hickman and Cooper are on it this lap, but it's still Cooper who leads through Mill Road!

    Cooper holds off Hickman into Metropole, and McWilliams is still there in third!

    They fly across the line together, and the top three are split by just 0.608 seconds. That's nothing!

    We look down at the spread-out Supertwins, slightly less than I was expecting I must say.

    I was expecting a little bit more of a performance from Peter Hickman in this one, but maybe the wind change has made all the difference.

    Right on cue, McWilliams slots into the lead but Cooper takes the inside into University to immediately hit back.

    Hickman has the best view of this battle.

    Cooper is so good over the coast road but the Paton of McWilliams and Hickman's Yamaha are able to reel him in on the run down to University!

    McWilliams slipstreams his way back to the front of the trio, and Cooper swiftly returns the favour.

    They're almost bumping handlebars as they brake into University, and it's Cooper who has the narrow lead.
