News breaking from the boxing world.

Irish boxer Michael O'Reilly will not contest a provisional suspension from the Rio Olympic Games.

The middleweight, 23, was told last Thursday he had failed a doping test due to an "adverse analytical" finding - a ruling he appealed against.

In a statement handed to Irish broadcaster RTE,, external O'Reilly said he unintentionally took a supplement that may have contained a banned substance.

Before I get back to the gymnastics, there's just time to tell you of an excellent comeback win by Johanna Konta. The British number one came from a set down to beat Russia's Svetlana Kuznetsova. She plays either Sam Stosur or Angelique Kerber in the third round.

It's missed! It's missed! 37m out, left of the posts, absolutely shanked. You know every time you've tried to find the green from 50 yards? That. Great Britain hang on for their second win of the day, while Japan have to console themselves with only beating New Zealand.

What a finish in the rugby. More than two minutes after the clock ran down, Japan go over. The conversion to level it...

Great Britain back in front. Marcus Watson runs in unchallenged, the conversion is added. Less than a minute to go. GB pretty much assured of a place in the last eight.

Try in the rugby. GB survived one attack with a try-saving tackle out of nowhere (a bit like a Randy Orton RKO), but they could not prevent the next attack ending with a score under the posts. Conversion goes over. Levels, you devils.
