What a fantastic race. Michael Phelps was awesome. I thought they were going to catch him but he pulled it off. You can call him the GOAT know. He's great. He's invincible.

You can't really go against Phelps. He may be a bit too old against a 19-year-old Hungarian, but Phelps is in there.

Big cheer as Michael Phelps walks to his lane. He is going for his 20th gold medal. Win that, and he will have scooped up more gold medals at the Olympics than Argentina.

    Men's 200m butterfly final

Tonight is the re-match of Chad le Clos' remarkable win over Michael Phelps in the men's 200m butterfly at London 2012.

Chad's dad Bert is not as relaxed as he was four years ago.

"London was another race. I'm nervous now. In London we had no expectation - we had a good time and won a gold medal but this time now it's expected. He's a beautiful lion."

The sight of Bert le Clos causing havoc in the BBC swimming studio was one of many of the enduring images of London 2012.

His son, Chad le Clos, put in one of the performances of the Games four years ago to pip the great Michael Phelps to gold in the 200m butterfly.

Things have been tough for the South African family recently though, with Bert suffering from a prostate tumour, while wife Geraldine has needed a double mastectomy after being diagnosed with breast cancer.

"My wife is alright, she's doing chemo - it's horrific," Bert says.

"You don't wish it on your worst enemy. It's the hand a family has been dealt - I want other families to look at my boy and to think 'that is the way to deal with adversity'. He's using it in a positive way. Geraldine is the king and the queen and I am just one of the peasants."
