    Women's heptathlon on Friday

    Official start times are in for the first day of track and field action on Friday (or day seven to Olympics devotees).

    Defending heptathlon champion Jessica Ennis-Hill and GB team-mate Katarina Johnson will take part in the first four of seven events - 100m hurdles, high jump, shot put and 200m.

    Dan Wallace after qualifying for the final tells BBC One: "Two months ago I didn't think this was possible but I knew I had it in there somewhere and it was nice to step up when it counts.

    I've started to enjoy swimming again and days like last night and this night made it clear to me that I want to keep doing this as long as I can."
