The biggest roar of the night came after the penultimate point in that second set when Juan Martin del Potro found a forehand which Andy Murray just didn't even move for. You do get the sense this crowd is giving Del Potro an extra few percent and when his long levers are set free, he doesn't half get some pace on the ball.
Murray remember is 17 matches unbeaten. Such form and his endless experience give him more than enough to soak this up and smile.
He stands to serve at one game all in the third. We are in for a long night.

Hansen gone! That is huge for Mark Cavendish.

Cav is good at this event. This is going to be a very exciting race.
Men's omnium
Every sprint we lose the last rider. I've heard a good argument for this rule coming in for extra time in football. Lose a player every five minutes until we have a winner.
And there's a shock! Leader Lasse Hansen is a goner already!

Tell you what, if you're not a British cycling fan, you must be getting pretty fed up with hearing the national anthem at the velodrome.
Luckily there is a large British contingent in the crowd and they're lapping it up.
Next is my favourite event in the omnium, the elimination race. Where the last place rider after each mini sprint is knocked out and the last one standing, wins.
It's fantastic entertainment and a real crowd pleaser!
Men's omnium
Mark Cavendish is about to go in the third of his sixth events in the omnium - it's the elimination race.
Murray v Del Potro
Wooosh! what a noise as Juan Martin del Potro takes the second set to make it one set each.
The final is the best of five so Andy Murray might not get to watch the 100m final at this rate...
Murray v Del Potro
Del Potro is forced into bunting his famous forehand long and the second set rumbles on...

Matt McGladrigan: Even if #Murray loses this set, these lengthy rallies will pay off for him as we go down the stretch.
Rachel: Come on Murray!! #TeamGB have been incredible today, let's carry it on!

Andy is doing a good job of making life difficult for Del Potro today.
Del Potro is a bit disappointed in himself as he sits down, he is starting to make a few mistakes on his forehand side.
Men's ominum (after two events)
Mark Cavendish's lead at the top of the men's omnium event lasts for about 20 minutes.
He has just been overtaken by Denmark's Lasse Norman Hansen, who has just broken the individual team pursuit Olympic record with a time of four minutes 14.982 seconds.
Cavendish is now in third after Germany's Roger Kluge also moves about the Manxman.
After two of six events, the standings are: 1. Lasse Norman Hansen (Denmark) 80 points, 2. Roger Kluge (Germany) 72 pts, 3. Mark Cavendish (Great Britain) 68 pts, 4. Thomas Boudat (France) 68 pts, 5. Elia Viviani (Italy) 64 pts, 6. Glenn O'Shea (Australia) 54 pts.
Final at 02:25 BST
Don't be thinking about going to bed at a sensible time just yet - it's now just over three hours until the showpiece event. Arguably.
You might as well stay up. You can be in bed within 30 seconds of the start.
But what will the winning time be tonight? And who is going to take gold?
I'm saying Usain Bolt. 9.78 seconds.

Women's 75kg middleweight round of 16
Here's Great Britain's Savannah Marshall's fight earlier on that put her through to the quarter-finals.

Safe to say, Mark Cavendish is absolutely delighted with his effort in the pursuit.
He hugged his coaches, and stuck his tongue out at support staff and had a grin as wide as a Cheshire Cat.
There was some chat that he was unhappy at not being picked for the men's team pursuit team which took gold on Friday and after that display you can see why.
But that's history and he has his only shot at a medal in the omnium.
China gold in women's 3m springboard
Earlier you saw Great Britain's Grace Reid finishing eighth in the women's 3m springboard final, here's the winning dive from China’s Shi Tingmao to take the gold medal.
Murray v Del Potro
It must be a good atmosphere in the tennis arena because I can't hear our own Luke Reddy at all.
Del Potro is a game away from taking the second set. It sounds like River Plate v Boca...

Desperate to know what the Argentinian fans are singing, I make a friend who speaks the lingo.
He says it's along the lines of "the messy people (fans) will always support their player."
A song of loyalty then. Speaking of loyalty, are you staying up? One hour and 51 minutes for 18 games.
You can sleep at your desk tomorrow.
