Justin Rose's gold medal is Great Britain's 12th of the Games. GB now only one behind second-placed China in the medal table. Level by the end of the day? Ahead?

GB windsurfing silver medalist Nick Dempsey has said he will retire after these Games but it sounded as if the thrill of competing in Rio has given him a few second thoughts with the gold medal remaining out of his grasp again.
Can he accept losing to Dutch sailor Dorian van Rijsselberghe? "Yes and no," he says. "Yes, because he's probably the best windsurfer there has ever been but no because I can beat him."
Dempsey's parents were telling me that seeing their 36-year old son sail in on such a beautiful beach was a fitting end to his career, but will the bug bite again before Tokyo in four years' time?
Mixed doubles final
USA's Venus Williams is a step closer to a fifth Olympic gold medal, as she takes the first set 7-6 (7-3) with mixed doubles partner Rajeev Ram.
The pair are up against compatriots Bethanie Mattek-Sands and Jack Sock in the final.
Mattek-Sands is rocking some very patriotic socks.
BBC Sport's Nathan Mercer: It's gold! Justin Rose walks off the 18th green and gives out a huge puff of relief as he makes his way to the scorers' tent. Fist bumps and hugs all round with his team, "I'm so, so thrilled."
And, in case you need reminding, Andy Murray's tennis final is still to come, along with the men's sprint, where one of GB pair Jason Kenny or Callum Skinner will take the top prize. What's better than Super Saturday?

Paul Santaana: Just watched @JustinRose99 get a marvellous gold and 9yr old says: Dad, can you take me to golf on Saturday? Yep sure can.
It's an incredible afternoon for Great Britain. Already there has been gold for Max Whitlock, now Justin Rose.
Before that's sunk in, we're straight to the men's pommel horse final.
The first of the eight men is just beginning. Louis Smith is fifth to go, Whitlock seventh.
And, that gold is rather fitting for a man who has backed Olympic golf for some time. Rose has been very vocal about his pride of playing for Great Britain. While others stayed at home, he came and triumphed.

A golfing gold for Team GB.
What a wonderful moment for Team GB.
He looks to the sky there is a thought there for his dad Ken.
Justin Rose wins gold
Rose punches the air, then taps the Great Britain badge on his chest. He removes his cap, hugs his caddie and salutes the crowd. Rose, a Ryder Cup hero, has now delivered gold for GB. He adds the Olympic title to his 2013 US Open crown.
