Lynsey Sharp after reaching the final: "I have just been so looking forward to getting that Q next to my name. I am so happy to have done that. It didn't really go as I planned, I was in a few positions I did not plan on but the main thing was to stay patient, trust in my coach and it paid off. I live for this stuff and to get into the final is a massive relief but this is where it really starts.

Women's javelin final
South Africa's Sunette Viljoen, who was fourth at London 2012, leads the women's javelin final after the first round.
The 32-year-old's throw of 64.92 puts her ahead of Australia's Kathryn Mitchell and China's Huiui Lyu.
The 2008 and 2012 Olympic champion and world record holder Barbora Spotakova is currently ninth.

Women's marathon world record holder on BBC TV
What I like about Lynsey Sharp this year is she does not panic when the race gets into the closing stages. She was patient and waited for the gap to open up and when it did she struck hard and struck fast to claim that spot.
Women's 800m semis
If anyone beats Caster Semenya it would be one of the shocks of these Games. She looks serene.
Women's 800m semis
Lovely stuff from Lynsey Sharp, strong and powerful in the home straight to drive through and finish second behind Caster Semenya. She's in the Olympic final!

Caster will go and will go hard but it will probably not be until the last 200m.
Women's 800m semis
Caster Semenya tracking the field in these early stages. When will she kick? Lynsey Sharp well placed at the bell...

Twenty two wins from 23 races for Caster this year. She lost one in March but apart from that, untouchable.
ThinkBig33: The shot putt looks like a bonbon in his hand!

Paula Radcliffe
Women's marathon world record holder on BBC TV
Shelayna Oskan-Clarke was in a great position but Melissa Bishop moved a little and Shelayna lost a bit of her momentum and her fight as well as she struggled to come back. She needed to keep fighting because she was just a couple of strides from fourth there.
Women's 800m semis
Caster Semenya means business tonight. She has dominated this event all season and is expected to win tonight too.
Lynsey Sharp goes for GB. A time of 1:59.40 could be enough to put her through.
Men's shot put
Ryan Crouser has won it! A superb series of putts has seen him win it. One throw to go too.
His last throw is up near 22m again, so consistent. It's 21.74m.
Women's 800m semis
Where did she come from?! Joanna Jozwik piles through at the end to win that semi as Shelayna Oskan-Clarke finished fifth. She was baulked badly with 200m to go.
Women's 800m semis
A LOT of pushing and shoving going on out there...
