    Colin Jackson

GB were okay, overall. The most important thing for GB is to qualify.

The Jamaican team, even with a messy change, were able to produce a winning performance. Jamaica did surprise me.

    'I'm not overly happy'published at 03:10 British Summer Time 5 August 2021

    Women’s kayak single 500m semi-finals

    BBC One

GB's Deborah Kerr on BBC One: "I'm not overly happy with today's race, I felt quite tired throughout the whole thing. The thing I'm taking away from this regatta is that I need to be able to last those four days or however many, because it's along slog, but that's what the quick girls are doing. They're able to last the whole time. That's what let me down today, but we'll go back and look at it later.

"It was amazing to reach the K200m final, I couldn't have dreamed of that a few months ago so I'm really happy with that. I'll try and use some of that positivity over the next couple of hours to keep me going.
