    FT: Leeds 52-22 Leigh

And that's where our live text coverage of tonight's Challenge Cup quarter-final ends.

Leeds Rhinos go through to the semi-finals along with last night's quarter-final winners Catalans Dragons, but at what price?

They suffered three injury losses, with Jimmy Keinhorst, Carl Ablett and Matt Parcell being unable to continue for the already injury-beleaguered Rhinos.

Meanwhile, Leigh's ill-discipline took the shine off an otherwise admirable performance.

Tomorrow, we'll bring you live text, radio and television coverage of Warrington v Wigan and Sunday we'll have the same as St Helens take on holders Hull FC.

For now, thank you for joining us.

Leeds Rhinos head coach Brian McDermott told Sky Sports:

"They're a firey club, Leigh are.

"I'm really peased, we're in the next round and that's the aim. The way we did it showed a lot of class and toughness."

    FT: Leeds 52-22 Leigh

Leigh Centurions boss Keiron Purtill told Sky Sports:

"We talked about not giving in and giving a performance. I thought Ben Crooks was outstanding for us.

"[Discipline] is something we've worked hard on. We've had a few guys in the bin tonight which is frustration more than anything.

"We now need to concentrate on our league campaign."

Just the nine tries for Leeds and just the two players sent off for Leigh.

That's all over. And breathe. What a strange game!

TRY AND RED CARD: Leeds 52-22 Leighpublished at 79 mins

    Adam Cuthbertson

What an amazing run by Ash Handley. Jordan Lilley intercepts a late Leigh challenge and offloads to his Leeds teammate.

He runs 50 metres and Leeds keep the ball before providing Adam Cuthbertson with an opportunity to score another try.

In the aftermath, it appears that Matty Dawson-Jones must have said something to referee Chris Kendall and he's been sent straight off. Leigh are down to 11 men now.

  6. SIN-BINpublished at 75 mins

    Leeds 48-22 Leigh

This could so easily be another Leigh Centurions try were it not for Ryan Hall.

He puts an arm out to stop of a Ben Reynolds offload just as Leigh were on the verge of crossing over.

Afterwards Leeds' Brett Ferris and Leigh's Jamie Acton go into the bin after there's some heated words and pushing and shoving exchanged.

  7. try

TRY: Leeds 48-22 Leighpublished at 72 mins

    Liam Hood, goal Ben Reynolds

This could be a highly charged finale. There's arguments aplenty after Liam Hood touches down for Leigh against his former club.

Video referee Ben Thaler correctly shows the try should stand. That's Hood's 12th try of the season and Ben Reynolds adds another two points with the boot.

    Leeds 48-16 Leigh

Ash Golding is tackled just before crossing over and, with four tackles still remaining, Leeds keep pushing towards the tryline.

But Leigh survive another day as they win a scrum.

  9. try

TRY: Leeds 48-16 Leighpublished at 64 mins

    Ben Crooks

This is a lovely try. Ben Crooks wrong-foots two Leeds players as the ball bounces unexpectedly and he somehow manages to stay out of touch and cross over.

That's a third try of the game but Ben Reynolds can't make the conversion count.

  10. PENALTY (Lilley)published at 61 mins

    Leeds 48-12 Leigh

Jordan Lilley makes the difference with the boot yet again.

This time he coolly dispatches a penalty goal to further extend Leeds' already sizeable lead.

    Leeds 46-12 Leigh

The tempo of this game has finally slowed down a bit. Leeds have picked up possession and are pressing towards the tryline.

Jack Walker tries to dummy his way into crossing over but Leigh manage to hold him up before he makes the breakthrough.

    Leeds 46-12 Leigh

Great play from Leigh Centurions, who first manage to stop Mikolaj Oledzki in his tracks as he chases another Leeds try, before thwarting Tom Briscoe's efforts moments later.

The ball is turned over soon after and the visitors have stopped what looked to be a certain Leeds try.

  13. try

TRY: Leeds 46-12 Leighpublished at 48 mins

    Cameron Smith, goal Jordan Lilley

Leeds are rewarded thanks to Jack Walker's tremendous hold-up play and eventually the ball is worked to Cameron Smith.

He grounds the ball well under the posts, but referee Chris Kendall takes it to video referee Ben Thaler who sees no reason not to award it.

Jordan Lilley adds another two points with the boot for their trouble.

    Leeds 40-12 Leigh

Ben Reynolds offloads to his onrushing Leigh teammate Bodene Thompson, but the pass is forwards and a promising attack is ended.

Meanwhile, Jack Walker intercepts possession and suddenly Leeds are on top at the other end of the field.

    Leeds 40-12 Leigh

Matty Dawson places the ball into the path of Ben Crooks as Leigh attempt to work their way back into this game.

However he manages to direct it straight into the path of his boot and it bounces out of play.

Barring some sort of miracle, it looks likely that Leeds will follow Catalans into the Challenge Cup semi-final double header at Bolton's Macron Stadium in August.

But we've got the small matter of two more quarter-finals to bring you this weekend.

Tomorrow Warrington take on Wigan while on Sunday Super League leaders St Helens take on Challenge Cup holders Hull FC.

We'll have live text, radio and television coverage of both of those games.

Kyle: Not getting carried away with this performance or scoreline. Leeds have played some good rugby league, however Leigh's defence is awful and the red card was crucial but deserved too.

Mixed emotions for Leeds, who've lost Carl Ablett, Jimmy Keinhorst and Matt Parcell through injury. They've dominated this first half and they've already reached the 40-point mark. You sense there's more to come, though.

Leigh will be frustrated at Peter Mata'utia's early senseless red card which has changed this game.

    Leeds 40-12 Leigh

Leeds' Matt Parcell will miss the rest of the game after he failed a head injury assessment, which is more bad news for the hosts.

Mikolaj Oledzki later crosses over for the Rhinos but it's ruled out because of obstruction in the build-up.
