    England 0-22 New Zealand

It's all down the middle at the minute. Endurance stuff. Now New Zealand look to whip it left through Esan Marsters, but he throws a simple pass forward.

    England 0-22 New Zealand

A first chance for Jermaine McGillvary to open up, but he's wrapped up and carried towards the touchline and ends up throwing the ball back into Kiwi hands.

Shaun Johnson looks to pick a route to the England try-line, but dallies on the ball and it eaten up by a wall of white.

This is another kind of challenge for England. They are under pressure and the Kiwis are confident and finding offloads.

England have to grind their way back into this and then the belief will come back into their game.

    England 0-22 New Zealand

Stefan Ratchford gets a run out, and his Warrington team-mate Chris Hill gets the crowd going with a big hit inside the Kiwi half.

But New Zealand come again. Great take from Tommy Makinson, mopping up the high ball.

  6. 'England have to respond'published at 16:34 Greenwich Mean Time 11 November 2018

    Jonathan Davies
Former Great Britain international on BBC Two

That demonstrates what New Zealand can do. A brilliant kick by Nikorima and Maumalo is about a foot taller than his opponent so there was only one winner. There was no chance for the England defender McGillvary.

It'll be a long half now and England have to respond because they have 30,000 people here supporting them.

TRY - England 0-22 New Zealandpublished at 44 mins

    Ken Maumalo (44 mins)

    New Zealand are in again!

A great little exchange between the Bromwich brothers, and Kodi Nikorima sticks one high towards the corner.

Ken Maumalo leaps high into the Yorkshire sky, above Jermaine McGillvary, gathers and grounds for his second try of the day.

    Ruthless.

Shaun Johnson is human. He strikes the post from wide out.

    Brian Noble

England will have to be patient. They have three scores and possibly four in them but it's crucial that white wall of defence keeps New Zealand out. They cracked a little bit in the first half.

England skipper Sean O'Loughlin, injured today, says his team-mates need to start knocking some sets together.

But it's New Zealand with ball in hand early in this half, with Shaun Johnson opting to run on the final tackle.

    He's looking dangerous.

Steve Wire Fitchett: Simply down to NZ being clinical - no mention of the terrible official...

Dylan: Try ruled out for obstruction was key for me, but we expect them to bow down for us

Tony: Difference between New Zealand & England is they have 2 world class half backs, we don't!

New Zealand are going to drag every play-the-ball out to the max. They were willing to give penalties away in front of their own posts to slow play down.

If Brad Fittler doesn't know who Tommy Makinson is, he certainly will do if he keeps finishing tries like that.

(Makinson's superb finish was ruled out for an obstruction earlier in the move)

Tom Barrett: 18-0 down. Here's to the second half turnaround and the series whitewash to end all series whitewashes, come on England!
