CONVERTED TRY - England 0-18 New Zealandpublished at 38 mins

    Kodi Nikorima (38 mins)

    Wonderful from Kodi Nikorima!

The diminutive half-back slips beyond an attempted Chris Hill tackle, runs at Jonny Lomax and slips a pass to the supporting Shaun Johnson.

Lomax does well to get across, but Johnson feeds Nikorima again for the simplest of scores between the sticks.

Fantastic break from the Kiwis, and Johnson pops on the extras to give them an 18-point lead.

New Zealand increase their lead through Kodi Nikorima!

  3. 'Johnson would have got over'published at 16:11 Greenwich Mean Time 11 November 2018

    England 0-12 New Zealand

    Brian Noble
Ex-Great Britain coach on BBC Two

Shaun Johnson was looking for the offload there but I reckon if he had a pop at the line there, he would have got over.

  4. Postpublished at 37 mins

    England 0-12 New Zealand

Almost magical from Shaun Johnson as he throws and outrageous dummy and saunters towards the try-line, but George Williams does superbly to hold the Kiwi wizard up inches from the England line.

Wayne Bennett will be furious is his side conceded another before half-time.

  5. Postpublished at 35 mins

    England 0-12 New Zealand

    Work to do for England.

Jonny Lomax gathers well just outside his own try line and the hosts try to run it clear through Jermaine McGillvary.

England keep it alive, but they're going backwards at the moment and Richie Myler slices his kick.

  6. 'Liu is like a train'published at 16:07 Greenwich Mean Time 11 November 2018

    England 0-12 New Zealand

    Brian Noble
Ex-Great Britain coach on BBC Two

Kodi Nikorima goes at the line on the last play and he times his pass to perfection. England are expecting the kick but Isaac Liu is like a train and he goes through to score.

  7. converted try

CONVERTED TRY - England 0-12 New Zealandpublished at 32 mins

    Isaac Liu (32 mins)

Inside the final 10 minutes of this first half then.

New Zealand go within 10 metres of the England line, and Isaac Liu crashes through!

Great line from Liu as he gathers at pace from close range and rips through England's would-be tacklers to ground besides the post.

    Clinical from the Kiwis.

    Simple conversion for Shaun Johnson.

  8. 'Very good refereeing'published at 16:02 Greenwich Mean Time 11 November 2018

    England 0-6 New Zealand

    Jonathan Davies
Former Great Britain international on BBC Two

Small margins. The ball just catches the Kiwi winger's leg and you have to say that was very good refereeing.

  9. NO TRYpublished at 30 mins

    England 0-6 New Zealand

    England are denied again.

Jermaine McGillvary is ruled to have knocked on in the motion of trying to execute a kick towards the line.

England flicked it inside to Oliver Gildart, who crossed from close range. But it's chalked off.

  10. TRY REVIEWpublished at 16:01 Greenwich Mean Time 11 November 2018

Oliver Gildart scampers over for England!

But we're back to the try review. Phil Bentham's earning his money up there today...

  11. 'Watene-Zelezniak has to play at it'published at 16:00 Greenwich Mean Time 11 November 2018

    England 0-6 New Zealand

    Brian Noble
Ex-Great Britain coach on BBC Two

George Williams has got the best short kicking game in the Super League and Dallin Watene-Zelezniak has to play at it.

  12. Postpublished at 28 mins

    England 0-6 New Zealand

Casual from Dallin Watene-Zelezniak, but eventually he has to kick George Williams' deep boot behind as Tommy Makinson bears down to force a Kiwi drop-out.

    It's lively.

  13. Postpublished at 27 mins

    England 0-6 New Zealand

From teeing one up at one end, Jonny Lomax is forced to defend a grubber from Shaun Johnson at the other. He stands strong to see it long.

    England get the decision.

  15. Postpublished at 26 mins

    England 0-6 New Zealand

The deftest of grubbers from Jonny Lomax into the corner as he looks for the onrushing Jermaine McGillvary over the try line, but the winger is unable to get hand to ball.

    Promising from the hosts.

  16. Postpublished at 25 mins

    England 0-6 New Zealand

    Here goes Tommy!

Makinson skips one tackle and hits top gear down the left, before drawing his man and teeing up Jonny Lomax, but New Zealand scramble.

England fling it right, but Oliver Gildart can't find a way through.

Vic: That England cross was a TRY. I get fed up with our pedantic, petty English refereeing. I've watched the game for decades and can't explain that dubious "rule"

  18. Postpublished at 22 mins

    England 0-6 New Zealand

Well... New Zealand are finally called up for slowing the ruck down.

England tap and go from 20 metres out, and get another penalty. They're gaining ground.

James Graham, the skipper, thunders to within five metres with five tackles to go.

But Luke Thompson can't hold on to a casual pass from his captain and the pressure is off.

  19. NO TRYpublished at 20 mins

    England 0-6 New Zealand

    England survive.

Jamayne Isaako had studs in touch when he delivered a clever pass back inside to Kevin Proctor.

    No try.

  20. TRY REVIEWpublished at 15:50 Greenwich Mean Time 11 November 2018

    England 0-6 New Zealand

England are having to defend here.

The Kiwis keep it alive after a long, crossfield Shaun Johnson boot.

They'll get another six... and Kevin Proctor might have got it down in the corner!
