    What a set from Wigan that was. They deserved some points. The ball was driven in by Gabe Hamlin, took them to five metres out.

    Then a chip by Sean O'Loughlin to the right was taken by Tom Davies but momentum couldn't take him over the stripe...

    Knock-on brings the attack to an end. Roosters breathe a sigh of relief.

    Roosters with a slightly scrappy end to the set, after a bit of ingenuity from Jake Friend.

    The hooker clipped the ball forward into the Wigan 10, where there was a scrap for it, Joseph Manu hacks the ball too far and gives up a drop out.

    George Williams kicks on the third tackle in the corresponding Wigan set. It promised more that... especially as Tommy Leuluai almost got away but was ankle-tapped. Superb effort.

    Sydney Roosters SOOOOOOOOOO close to a try. Matt Ikuvalu was put in out on the left, showing wonderful hands to clasp that ball in around the laces but as he darted for the line, Joe Greenwood hit him with a steamer. Touch.

    Wigan have really dealt with the presence of James Tedesco brilliantly, he's not had chance to stretch those legs at all... as the game breaks open though, that's when we'll see that mercurial full-back go.

    James Tedesco tackled! Ball goes left... Keary nailed again! Cooper Cronk's chip to the right side is taken in by Liam Marshall despite the attention of Matt Ikuvalu.

    Wigan look to clear but then Joe Greenwood is shunted out of play and it's another Roosters scrum. They're ramping up pressure now.

    Sydney Roosters so close to getting in after a wonderful wrap-around short-side play... the ball was hacked in-field by Matt Ikuvalu but knocked on.

    Wigan are really finding spaces now in attack, even if they look a bit shaky in defence still.

    There's a kick pumped into the in-goal again, but Brett Morris is tackled in the air by Liam Farrell and Roosters get a penalty which is clubbed to touch by the visitors.
