Away from today's match for a second...

New Zealand legend Sonny Bill Williams met the media earlier this week after signing a deal with Super League newcomers Toronto Wolfpack.

I spoke to Williams about that move, and how becoming a Muslim helped him "become a better person".

  2. 'GB energy levels dropping'published at 08:21 Greenwich Mean Time 16 November 2019

Former Great Britain international on BBC Two

It was noticeable in the last 15 minutes the Great Britain energy levels dropped and PNG were still going. In the second half it's going to get worse - there will be great pressure on Great Britain.

It was negative play from Jackson Hastings kicking to touch, trying to look for half-time when they have got build the scoreboard.

It is so tough with the conditions, if you have the ball you control the speed of the game.

That Jackson Hastings kick in the last minute looks even more terrible now.

PNG hit back and Great Britain lead by four at the interval.

What a run out of acting half! He made it look so simple, so fast.

You mention about the ruck speed they have created, that is the result - you give an opportunity for your faster players to get in and around that space and go at the big players.

CONVERTED TRY - PNG 6-10 Great Britainpublished at 39 mins

    Edwin Ipape

    Magnificent try, Port Moresby erupts!!

Great Britain fall asleep with a few seconds remaining and Papua New Guinea make them pay heavily.

Edwin Ipape, 60 metres out, looks up and makes a run from dummy half.

Catch me if you can, no GB player can get a hand on him, and Ipape celebrates even before touching the ball down.

Absolutely brilliant, Kyle Laybutt with the extra two.

    What?

Jackson Hastings opts to hammer the ball into touch for territory.

Their heads have been scrambled by the PNG body hits.

Dink into the corner? Chip over the full-back??

There is no substitute in our game for running hard. That is what PNG have done, they need some polish on the back of that and better execution in some of their plays, but they are not having trouble making metres.

Another Great Britain player is stricken as Gareth Widdop took a heavy hit into his ribs there.

Hopefully the medical staff have taken plenty of ice packs and bandages over...they're going to need them.

James Graham is down on the touchline. He looks to be OK after that head injury early on, although not fit to return.

    Showboating from PNG, superb.

Edwin Ipape with some Ronaldinho style skills, popping the ball off with behind into the path of Watson Boas.

The Doncaster player looks for a one-two with his little grubber kick through, but Ipape is inches away from collecting the return.

    What a great move.

It's been a good opening from Great Britain, they've been expansive but at the same time conservative and they have built some pressure on this Kumuls team.

But the Great Britain unforced errors are still there.

Inside the PNG half from a scrum, Jonny Lomax drops it.

Tbf, the pass to him was awful.

    Did he get in?!

It's hard to call against it, but you can clearly see it's on the line. A lovely offload from the Kumuls but they couldn't ground the ball properly.

  18. NO TRYpublished at 29 mins

    Not given!

It was a marvellous effort from Edene Gebbie, flying into the corner and touching down, but the ball catches the whitewash and is ruled out.

Extremely unlucky, I thought he was in.
