What is pleasing though, is the level of respect earned from the visitors, the appreciation for our stars and the quality of the football.
St Helens have won us a few fans down under, and the Roosters have been perfect visitors.
There's a nice glow around rugby league tonight, let's enjoy it.

"I'm really proud, it's been an amazing year in 2019 after we came and started down here in Wigan. We finished it off tonight.

It's great to see the genuine enthusiasm for this competition from the Sydney Roosters, as they receive the trophy and Jake Friend hauls the cup aloft and the champagne sprays.
There might be a few big coats being donned but there are also some big smiles too. It's a brilliant sight to see, the best team in the world proud to be in the UK and representing.
