Leeds are making their way out so we can't be too far away from kick-off, now.

I'll never get used to the limp round of applause that accompanies players making their way out onto the field with crowds still not allowed into games.

Meanwhile Leeds, who are without boss Richard Agar who is self-isolating due to coronavirus testing protocols, name a strong side to take on Catalans.

Assistant Sean Long, who recently joined from rugby union side Harlequins, takes charge at the ground this evening.

    Catalans v Leeds (19:45 GMT)

It has been a long season for Super League clubs, who would normally be returning to pre-season training rather than completing the play-off phase at this point of any other year.

After a four-and-a-half month enforced sabbatical because of Covid-19, the elongated campaign is now at the crunch stage, the point where seasons are ended and champions are crowned.

Hull went through last night, but how does this season's play-off format work and what else do you need to know?

Thursday night saw the Super League play-offs begin with a cracker of an eliminator game.

Hull FC moved to within 80 minutes of a 'home' Grand Final after they dumped Warrington out at the first stage of the play-offs.

Marc Sneyd's 100% kicking record proved to be the difference as they won 27-14 at the Halliwell Jones Stadium.

The result meant that Warrington have now been knocked out at the first phase of the play-offs for two seasons in a row.

We return for night two of the 2020 Super League play-offs and tonight, Catalans take on this season's Challenge Cup winners Leeds for a semi-final spot.

The winners meet St Helens next week and will stand one victory away from a Grand Final spot.

After Hull's impressive victory against Warrington last night, the standard has been set and let's hope for another fine game this evening.

    Kick-off is coming soon.
