"The game tells us there’s a bit to work on. It showed the girls have worked hard because the energy to keep going was fantastic. The sky’s the limit with this team but we need to keep going and keep improving week on week.
"A big shout out to Brazil, I thought they were fantastic and kept going.
"We’ll tidy up in one or two areas, but I’m absolutely thrilled to bits with that performance."

England get their Rugby League World Cup campaign under way with a thumping 72-4 win over Brazil in a carnival atmosphere at Headingley.

Craig Richards' team are next in action Saturday lunchtime, facing Canada in Wigan. They then finish Pool A on November 9, against Papua New Guinea.
They will look to top the pool, and set up a semi-final clash with either Australia or New Zealand.

Caitlin Beevers, who scored the first try of the World Cup, speaking to BBC Two:
"It was amazing, for a lot of the girls it was a good run out and it’s getting us excited for the rest of the campaign.
"For me it’s still a massive pinch me experience, being in camp and being around the girls 24/7, we’re very privileged and I’m very honoured to pull on the shirt. To be able to play alongside a phenomenal group of athletes, I’m very honoured."

"We wanted to be ruthless, keep going and perhaps at times we needed to go back to basics. I think we can take a lot from it.
"The atmosphere was excellent, the kids’ volume was terrific and the south stand drummers going off. And the Brazilian tunes, I was even having a little jig there at one point. It’s just a wonderful atmosphere and this is what all the girls dream about."

"There were some yucky patches at times, we’ll try to tidy that up, but it was enjoyable today.
"It’s an incredibly special day, not so much for the tries but my family have flown from Australia and I have all of my fellow players and colleagues here. This is really special for me today."

England's Goldthorp gets the first try of the second half
All over, and it was just as routine as England hoped and expected.
Some good play, a few sloppy errors, but most importantly an opening win on the board for the tournament hosts.
Huge credit to Brazil - outclassed and outgunned, but they never gave up. And they scored their first World Cup try. That was a genuinely beautiful sporting moment.

There is! Liv Wood pierces space in the Brazilian line and grabs her first international try.
She will score more difficult tries in her future. The knackered Brazil defenders were running in treacle.
