    SCENES!

Brazil get a penalty after Caitlin Beevers goes in with a high tackle on sub Giovanna Barth, they make the most of it as Natalia Momberg goes over in the corner.

The celebrations from the Brazil players are wild and rightly so. A historic try, their first at the World Cup.

The conversion is wide, but it's all about those first points.

    England 44-0 Brazil

Brazil are enjoying a bit more possession here, they're keeping the ball well and showing more patience.

They open up some space on the right wing, but Adriana Felix doesn't have the pace, power or belief to get it over the line.

    England 44-0 Brazil

Leyther is right - Brazil have done nothing to disgrace themselves, they just can't compete with a team as experienced as England.

They will eye games against Canada and Papua New Guinea as much better opportunities for a maiden win.

Leyther: Brazil aren't doing too badly considering they're a new team to international rugby league. Some of their defence has been great in the first half. A few more years with experience they will be up there. Keep it up England.

    Amy Hardcastle

After the Leah Burke fumble, Brazil kick out from under the posts. However, it is a short, inaccurate kick and England are instantly back on the attack.

It works out to Amy Hardcastle on the left, and she charges over for her second try.

Tara Stanley drops it just wide, it was another tricky conversion.

    England 40-0 Brazil

Brazil really look like a side which is playing only its third international ever. Rather naive in defence.

Here come England again, but the final pass out to Leah Burke on the left wing is looping and off target, it bounces off the wing's knee and out.

Burke got a boot to the face for her trouble too, and is patched up by the physios.

England are just playing a bit more composed, they just need to get through those sets.

Fran did well to finish that because it was a bit of a funny bounce.
