Leeds were exceptional at times in defence. Saints could have scored more points against another team.

St Helens are a great team in attack, so tactical, great vision and pace. It was an entertaining game.

  10. Three in a row for Saintspublished at 13:47 British Summer Time 12 August 2023

    Leeds 8-22 St Helens

A third successive Challenge Cup for St Helens.

But winning at Leigh Sports Village and then Elland Road simply does not compare with success under the Wembley Arch.

That five-minute blitz in the first half won the game for them with those tries from Tara Jones, Phoebe Hook and Eboni Partington.

    Congratulations to them.

Time is ticking away. The scoreline looks good for St Helens and you're going to get a frustrated Leeds now.

They need to put the pressure on their defence. Leeds look very deflated and Saints will be enjoying this.

This injury stoppage for Zoe Harris is a good chance for players on both sides to take on some water.

There are little more than 10 minutes left. One last, big effort for all the players.

Although not for Harris as she cannot continue.

The Rhinos win the ball back but they have to go the entire length of the field.

They work it to Caitlin Casey on the last tackle and her high kick is taken under some discomfort by full-back Zoe Harris.

That's a sore one for Harris.
