The Robins were immense throughout and rookie head coach Willie Peters has them 80 minutes away from a maiden Super League Grand Final.

The Hull KR story continues, but it is worth recapping what has been a tremendous campaign for Leigh Leopards.

They rebranded on their Super League return and have emerged as an unexpected force. They will forever have Challenge Cup glory and, after never having had a player named in the Super League Dream Team, they managed to get five in the all-star cast this time around.

They have gone out at the first play-off hurdle, but what a season it has been.

The question now is, who will Hull KR face in the semi-finals?

That all depends on St Helens and Warrington tomorrow.

If Saints win that play-off eliminator, the Robins face Wigan Warriors. If Warrington come out on top, then it's a trip to Catalans Dragons.

Hull KR have done it!

They are 80 minutes from reaching their first Super League Grand Final!

This is a sweet victory for the Robins, ending Leigh's season after the Leopards came out on top in the Challenge Cup Grand Final against them just weeks ago.

Craven Park is heaving mass of elation tonight.

The home fans are greeting every tackle, every pass, every step and kick with cheers.

Hull KR are just two minutes from being ushered into the last four.

Brad Schneider is on the money and has Hull KR on their way into the semi-finals.

After Ryan Hall is brought down 15 metres out, Mikey Lewis is hit with a high shot.

It's another penalty and Hull KR will look to land another two points to wrap up the win.

Ryan Hall breaks away! He is a long, long way out but is hungry to get to the line to kill the game off for Hull KR.

He tries to motor clear, but Tom Briscoe chases him down...

Brad Schneider has caused all sorts of trouble with his high kicks tonight, but Tom Briscoe keeps cool as he defuses his latest attempt.

And he needed to be, with Hull KR runners coming in fast to wrap up the winger near his own line.

We are into the final 15 minutes now and both sets of players rush in for a bit of push and shove.

It comes after Leigh's Edwin Ipape is hammered hard by Kane Linnett.

Ipape had eyes on the ball as he took a pass and Linnett slammed into him with a tackle that drew gasps from the crowd.

Edwin Ipape is called over for a chat with the referee after hitting Mikey Lewis with a late tackle in the middle of the park.

He gets a telling off, but stays on the field. What it has done is hand field position to Hull KR, who now have their first real attacking opportunity since the first minute of this half.

Leigh have looked like a team transformed since pulling a try back.

A kick is squeezed through, but there is just too much on it with a wave of Leigh chasers watching on as it runs dead on the right.

Oh, Leigh so desperately needed this to go their way.

The Leopards were looking to add a quick second try after Josh Charnley went over.

The ball is shifted to Oliver Gildart, but his attempt to catch and pass in one fluid motion looking for Charnley again goes to ground.

Ben Reynolds gets a talking to from the referee after coming in late on a tackle after Ed Chamberlain already wrapped Jack Walker up.

The penalty allows the Robins easy metres from deep in their own half. And Leigh are looking further and further away from coming back in this game.

The answer is yes, yes there was obstruction.

Edwin Ipape plays the ball for Joe Mellor, and gets in the way as his team-mate muscles his way over right next to the post. There was nowhere for anyone to go as the bodies tumbled over the line with Mellor.
