  1. Unintended consequences?published at 19:35 Greenwich Mean Time 9 January 2015

The game could serve a few unintended consequences. Rhys Priestland has the chance to show next-club Bath how well he can control matters in such conditions.

And if Scarlets win against second-placed Glasgow, they will do their table-topping local rivals Ospreys a favour.

  2. And the Scarlets' viewpublished at 19:30 Greenwich Mean Time 9 January 2015

Scarlets boss Wayne Pivac has underlined the importance of their next three or four Pro12 games.

He said: "This weekend's game is massive and I don't think that any one game has more importance over the other in the next month of Pro12 rugby... the next three or four especially, are just massive.

"We've got to get points out of all games. On the road for us a minimum would be a bonus point out of them.

"We go to Glasgow off the back of the Ospreys game full of confidence and going there to try and get maximum points."

  3. What the home coach thinkspublished at 19:29 Greenwich Mean Time 9 January 2015

Warriors head coach Gregor Townsend hopes for a 15th consecutive Pro12 home win since Newport Gwent Dragons beat them 23-8 in November, 2013.

"We face a tough challenge against the Scarlets, who are very well-coached and have a number of quality players in their side," said Townsend.

"It's great to be able to welcome back Mike Cusack. He's shown a lot of courage over the last couple of seasons and his hard work has been rewarded with a starting place in the team."

  6. Scarlets' problems at hookerpublished at 19:27 Greenwich Mean Time 9 January 2015

Injuries force Scarlets into two changes, both in the front-row in the wake of their 22-10 win over Ospreys.

Ryan Elias makes his first Pro12 start at hooker - their fourth-choice in the wake of injuries to Ken Owens, Emyr Phillips and Kirby Myhill.

The latter's absence means a possible debut off the bench for Myhill's 19-year-old brother Torin.

Jacobie Adriaanse takes over from Wales' Samson Lee at tight-head for Scarlets.

  7. Glasgow change their front-rowpublished at 19:27 Greenwich Mean Time 9 January 2015

Glasgow recall prop Mike Cusack, who has not played since February, 2014 because of injury and illness.

Cusack is joined by Jerry Yanuyanutawa and Pat MacArthur in starting ahead of Gordon Reid, Dougie Hall and Jon Welsh.

Gregor Townsend's side are looking to bounce back from their surprise 20-8 defeat by Edinburgh.

  8. A warm welcome to windy Glasgowpublished at 19:24 Greenwich Mean Time 9 January 2015

It's wet. It's windy. It can only mean one thing on a Friday night in January - the Celtic brethren will go at each other in conditions fit for a sodden arm-wrestle as Glasgow Warriors host Scarlets in the Pro12.

And we'll be here to keep you updated on how they fare. It'll be rugby fun, but not as they know it in the sunnier parts of the world.
