"Ireland are going to have to make the most of this yellow card. Warburton has been prolific in his line-out and defensive work so far. He got the word from Wayne Barnes to roll away... and he didn't."

"You have to listen to the referee. Even if you feel you are supporting yourself, you have to listen to the referee and if he says 'roll away', you roll away. Wayne Barnes has been consistent and that is all you can ask for."

That radar is back in working order. Johnny Sexton makes his kick and a 12-point lead has been cut in half with a 10-minute "power play" to come for Ireland.

    "You've had your warning Sam."

Wayne Barnes dispatches Sam Warburton to the sin bin as he gets his hands all over the ball right in front of the official.

    Not Warburton's smartest work.

Johnny Sexton will have a chance from straight in front and on the Wales' 10m.

BBC Wales Sport's Dafydd Pritchard at the Millennium Stadium

After a breathless start, the Millennium Stadium fell silent for a moment as Wales prop Samson Lee was taken off injured.

Until then, it had felt like a firework display here - only that it has been brutal tackles rather than pyrotechnics creating the spectacle.

Each ferocious hit has been met with cries of "ooh" and "aah" as Welsh and Irish players crash into each other like dodgems on the pitch. This is not for the faint-hearted.

Ireland have been on the rough side of Wayne Barnes' whistle so far, but they have a break there with George North pinged for hanging on to his man after the tackle.

It is a tricky chance, off on the angle, but Johnny Sexton won't be happy with the tugged effort.

He has had a slow start .

"This will not be good for Wales, Samson Lee is crucial to the scrum. It is a big ask for his replacement Aaron Jarvis and it also ends the momentum Wales had built up. This is a big blow for Wales, a big blow. And a certain Adam Jones has retired. Adam, put your pint down and get back on the treadmill..."
