    Is this pre-match gamesmanship?

    A military band bash out a horrible muzak version of Flower of Scotland - far too fast, far too upbeat and totally devoid of the usual dignity and menace.

    The Scotland team are at least half a line behind by the end as the try and stick to the normal tempo.

    Scotland's wins over England are the stuff of legend, but the common denominators tend to be Murrayfield and/or pelting rain.

    Scotland have a winning record over England in Edinburgh, but have won on only four of 36 visits to Twickenham.

    The last time was 1983.

    Forwards coach Graham Rowntree is confident that his boys can do it.

    "If we get our game right, then we can win by many," Rowntree replied when asked if he would take a one-point win.
