Small Man Peaky:, external Slade once again showing what England are missing at 12. Too late now to try him out before the RWC. Talent being wasted.

Keith Taylor:, external Hoping for @EdinburghRugby v @gloucesterrugby in the final. Had great chat with their fans in the 2013/14 Heineken cup.

    Simon Devereux
Former Gloucester forward on BBC Radio Gloucester

"All of a sudden Gloucester have lost momentum in the game and the error count has come into it."

  3. Penalty (Slade)published at 21:13 British Summer Time 18 April 2015

This boy isn't missing tonight, is he? Henry Slade's kick from the tee is perfect and we have a one-point game on our hands.

The Chiefs' set-piece is good this time and they work the ball across from the open-side. And then disaster strikes for Gloucester - forward Matt Kvesic gives away a penalty for coming off his feet at the breakdown.

This one is right in front of the posts for Henry Slade.

Henry Slade boots the ball high and long and, probably not ideally from Gloucester's point of view, Sione Kalamafoni is the man underneath it. No great surprise that, lo and behold, the Tongan drops it too.

This could be a decent chance for Exeter Chiefs if they can put together a good scrum.

  6. Missed penalty (Laidlaw)published at 21:06 British Summer Time 18 April 2015

... But Greig Laidlaw hooks it wide of the near upright. Exeter Chiefs have been second best for the majority of this match, yet are still well and truly in it.

Oh Jonny, what a waste. After Henry Purdy's eye-catching break England winger May has a terrific opportunity to release Charlie Sharples on his right shoulder, but instead backs himself to go over - and doesn't.

Gloucester will at least have a penalty from the resulting ruck...

Speaking of familiar tales, Gloucester work through the phases once more but, just as the try-line comes within touching distance, Exeter turn the ball over for the sixth time this evening and clear up the pitch.

Another scrum, another penalty for Gloucester. We've not seen too much clean ball from the set-piece so far tonight, that's for sure.

James Hook kicks the Cherry and Whites up-field and into touch.

The opening to this second half has been as frantic as the first. Exeter Chiefs are on the attack again but Jack Nowell, who is now receiving some further treatment, is guilty of knocking on.

  11. Penalty (Slade)published at 20:56 British Summer Time 18 April 2015

It's three out of three for Henry Slade, meaning the Chiefs' deficit is down to four points.

  12. Postpublished at 20:56 British Summer Time 18 April 2015

Am I watching a re-run of the first half?! Just as Dean Mumm did in the early stages, visiting forward David Ewers is over the line but is brilliantly held up by the Gloucester defence.

It'll be a penalty for Exeter this time, however, meaning Henry Slade can take a shot a goal...

  13. Postpublished at 20:54 British Summer Time 18 April 2015

    Simon Devereux
Former Gloucester forward on BBC Radio Gloucester

"The key message for Gloucester at half-time will be to not invite Exeter back into the game. Gloucester were quite ahead in terms of how they played in the first half, despite the score."

  14. Postpublished at 20:53 British Summer Time 18 April 2015

But, not for the first time, Exeter Chiefs turn the ball over and hit the home side on the break. And Billy Meakes, covering from the kick in behind, has dropped it too! But thankfully for him it results in no more than a scrum to Exeter.

We're back under way then - and immediately Gloucester are on the attack after their own kick-off.

The teams are back out on the Kingsholm turf. We're 40 minutes away from finding out who'll face Edinburgh in the final at The Twickenham Stoop on Friday, 1 May.

    John Lockyer
Former Exeter captain on BBC Radio Devon

"Exeter have been under the cosh. Gloucester have been the better side and played the most rugby, but they have only one try to show for it.

"Exeter have made a massive number of tackles, and you wonder what that will take out of them. It was a fascinating first half."
