    With both sides struggling to make a serious impact in their domestic leagues this season, this is undoubtedly the biggest game of the campaign for both these clubs.

    Edinburgh, who sit seventh in the Pro12 table, are the first Scottish side to reach a European final, having previously lost to Ulster in the semi-final of the Heineken Cup in 2012.

    Gloucester, ninth in the Premiership, are playing in their first Challenge Cup final since 2006. You can imagine those who watch the Cherry and Whites from The Shed at Kingsholm might be feeling a tad excited.
