  1. Post update

Phew, well that didn't lack for excitement, thanks for tuning in to share the last round of the regular season with us.

But the season's not over yet of course: two more weekends of rugby excitement as Glasgow, Ulster, Munster and Ospreys slug it out to become Pro12 champions.

    See you soon!

  2. Post update

The Pro12's representatives in next season's European Champions Cup will be Munster, Ulster and Leinster from Ireland, Ospreys and Scarlets from Wales, Glasgow from Scotland and Treviso from Italy.

Connacht could still gain a place in Europe's top tier but must win a play-off at English side Gloucester, then win another play-off against a side from the French Top 14.

Otherwise Connacht will be in the Challenge Cup with Edinburgh, Newport Gwent Dragons, Cardiff Blues and Zebre.

  3. Post update

    The final Pro12 table...

    table
  4. Post update

The first Pro12 play-off semi-final will take place next Friday night when Ulster will again go to Glasgow in a repeat of this afternoon's game.

    fixtures

Then on Saturday it's a trip to Ireland for Ospreys as they face Munster at Thomond Park.

  5. Post update

    Ospreys captain Alun Wyn Jones

We're still in the semi-final despite things... we would have liked to get that bonus point but it's a win so we'll take the positive from that.

We would have liked the home semi on Friday night, but I think we're away on the Saturday so we get an extra day's rest.

  6. Post update

    Alun Wyn Jones

    Ospreys captain

We're disappointed not to get the bonus point but we're pleased with the win.

We know it's going to be difficult [going away] in the semi-final but we're taking the positives all the same.

  7. Post update

    Adrian Hadley

Former Wales wing on BBC Radio Wales

Ospreys will be very, very disappointed. Let's hope they can go away and win but it will very difficult.

They were so, so close to getting that fourth try with Eli Walker's effort before half-time.

They just couldn't get any possession or fluency in the Connacht half in that second half.

  8. Glasgow 32-10 Ulster

And it's a bonus point for Glasgow which is bad news for the Ospreys. Richie Vernon claims the try and Russell converts again.

  9. Full-time: Connacht 20-24 Ospreys

And that's it from Galway - a win for Ospreys but they've been overtaken by Glasgow and Munster for the top two spots in the Pro12 and that all-important home advantage in the play-off semi-finals.

  10. Full-time

    Cardiff Blues 29-5 Zebre

Cardiff Blues finish 10th in the Pro12, running in five tries against bottom-side Zebre at Arms Park. The result means Treviso will represent Italy in next season's European Champions Cup.

  11. Converted try: Connacht 20-24 Ospreys

Connacht go over in the final minute, Dennis Buckley amongst a pile of bodies - it's converted by Carty.

  12. Edinburgh 23-36 Leinster

And Jordi Murphy claims a try with Madigan on target again as Leinster complete the victory.

  13. Replacement: Connacht 13-24 Ospreys

Connacht send for Shane O'Leary off the bench in place of wing Matt Healy.

  14. Post update

    Mark Jones

    Former Scarlets and Wales wing

That's a great kick from Rhys Priestland, it could settle the boys down.

    kick

He's made Treviso have to come out and score.

Could that be the kick that sends Scarlets into Europe?

Let us know your thoughts by tweeting with #ScrumV, email us, or get in touch on Facebook.

  15. Post update

    Adrian Hadley

Former Wales wing on BBC Radio Wales

Connacht are kicking deep, pegging them back and Ospreys are just not handling that at the moment.

  16. Try

    Cardiff Blues 24-5 Zebre

Valerio Bernabo crashes over for Zebre. Luciano Orquera misses the conversion.

  17. Munster 45-17 Dragons

Conor Murray claims his third try, but mission was accomplished a long time ago for the Munstermen.

  18. Replacement: Connacht 13-24 Ospreys

Connacht make two more changes: prop Finlay Bealham for Rodney Ah You and Michael Swift for number eight Eoin McKeon.

  19. Converted try

    Treviso 13-17 Scarlets

    try

Wing Steff Evans dives over in the corner to give Scarlets the lead for the first time this afternoon. Rhys Priestland adds the conversion from the touchline.

  20. Edinburgh 23-22 Leinster

And the Scots take the lead with the ever-reliebale Sam Hidalgo-Clyne kicking a penalty.

  21. Get involved via #ScrumV

Connacht are really putting the pressure on Ospreys now... Feeling nervous Os fans?

Dan Todd tweets: "Didn't see this resurgence coming #ConnachtRugby v #Ospreys"

Garath Williams is scratching his head: "What's happening Ospreys?? #CmonLads"

Thomas Slater adds: "Come on the Ospreys not long to go now, 24-13... Can we get that bonus point?"

Join the debate by tweeting with #ScrumV, email us, or get in touch via Facebook.

  22. Glasgow 18-10 Ulster

And the Scots pull clear as Finn Russell scores and converts his own try.

  23. Post update

    Mark Jones

    Former Scarlets and Wales wing

Great work from Liam Williams there.

    liam williams

He hits a great line and that has given the Scarlets a major foothold in this game.

  24. Replacement: Connacht 13-24 Ospreys

Flanker Dan Lydiate comes on for James King, and prop Aaron Jarvis for Dimitri Arhip on the Ospreys' side.

For Connacht John Cooney replaces Andrew Browne at lock.

  25. Edinburgh 20-22 Leinster

Game on here as Tim Visser crosses for the try which Sam Hidalgo-Clyne converts.

  26. Connacht 13-24 Ospreys

Connacht cause real problems with another well-executed driving line-out.

The ball does eventually reach the home backs and Robbie Henshaw takes a crash ball, but Ospreys stand firm.

  27. Converted try

    Treviso 13-10 Scarlets

Game on! Scarlets full-back Liam Williams skips through the Treviso defence to score underneath the posts and Rhys Priestland adds the conversion.

  28. Glasgow 11-10 Ulster

Stuart Hogg claims a fantastic solo try, kicking ahead and sprinting clear down the right touchline for the home team after a rush of substitutions.

  29. Converted try

    Cardiff Blues 24-0 Zebre

Rhys Patchell converts his own try against Zebre to surely seal Treviso's place in the European Champions Cup.

  30. Connacht 13-24 Ospreys

Oh dear. Yet another Ospreys blunder hands Connacht the initiative, as Dan Evans' too high pass sees Eli Walker catch it with a foot in touch in his own 22.

  31. Get involved via #ScrumV

    Shane Williams says...

    Shane

Former Wales and British and Irish Lion Shane Williams tweets: "Ospreys playing their best Pro12 rugby when it counts... Play off time! Reminiscent of 2012 season when we won it at RDS!!!"

Anyone else have a sense of déjà vu?

Tweet using #ScrumV, email us, or get in touch via Facebook.

  32. Converted try: Connacht 13-24 Ospreys

Jack Carty adds the conversion and Connacht are now only 11 points behind their visitors.

  33. Treviso 13-3 Scarlets

A scrappy second half. Scarlets have failed to take advantage of the wind yet. Perhaps they are feeling the tension as they spill the ball yet again inside the Treviso half.

  34. Edinburgh 13-22 Leinster

Zane Kirchner crosses for what could be a decisive try at Murrayfield to open up a nine-point lead for Leinster.

  35. Try: Connacht 11-24 Ospreys

Connacht go for a series of attacking line-outs in Ospreys' 22 and a pile of green-shirted bodies shunt Eoghan Masterson over the line.

  36. Connacht 6-24 Ospreys

Ospreys cough up another penalty as they get a rolling maul wrong.

"Truck and trailer, truck and trailer," is the call from referee Marius Mitrea.

  37. Penalty: Connacht 6-24 Ospreys

Ospreys are penalised at a ruck and Jack Carty shows his poise by thumping the ball between the posts.

  38. Munster 40-17 Dragons

Dragons are down to 14 men with Hugh Gustafson in the sin-bin, but Tyler Morgan crosses for a try which Jason Tovey converts.

  39. Connacht 3-24 Ospreys

It's an interesting conundrum for Connacht with the conditions.

They can thump the ball a long way to try and put pressure on Ospreys, but the ball goes so far and so fast that the chasers don't have enough time to get upfield to put on any real pressure when the visitors run it back.

If they were leading it might not be a bad thing, but the Irish side are still trailing by a lot.

  40. Try

    Cardiff Blues 17-0 Zebre

Alex Cuthbert crosses for his second and Rhys Patchell misses the conversion. Surely Treviso's place in the European Champions Cup is safe now no matter what happens in their match against Scarlets.

  41. Edinburgh 13-17 Leinster

Sam Hidalgo-Clyne claims first blood in the second half with a penalty.

  42. Connacht 3-24 Ospreys

It's been a string of errors by Ospreys since the restart and the momentum is firmly with Connacht, along with that wind.

  43. Post update

    Mark Jones

    Former Scarlets and Wales wing

That's shocking play from a professional player, a total lack of respect for the opposition.

He's show boating before he puts it down and then he tried to beat someone over the try line.

    no try

It was a brilliant piece of defending from Scott Williams, but it shouldn't have got to that.

  44. Munster 40-10 Dragons

The torture continues for Dragons in Cork as Keith Earls claims Munster's sixth try of the afternoon and Ian Keatley adds the extra points.

  45. No try

    Treviso 13-3 Scarlets

Henry Seniloli celebrates before touching the ball down, but he is caught by Scott Williams who holds up the Treviso scrum-half, who then spills the ball. What a let off for Scarlets. Could that prove costly for the Italian side?

  46. Penalty: Connacht 3-24 Ospreys

Ospreys make a mess of the restart for the second half and give up a penalty in front of the posts, allowing Jack Carty to get Connacht on the scoreboard.

  47. As it stands

So Munster are top of the pile at half-time, but one more try for Ospreys in the second half will see them return to the head of the table.

Ulster are just edging Edinburgh but at this point it won't be enough for a home draw in the Pro12 play-off semi-finals.

Scarlets losing at Treviso puts their Champions Cup qualification in jeopardy, but with Edinburgh and Connacht also both losing they're safe for the moment.

Treviso look set to be Italy's Champions Cup representatives next season with Zebre also losing at Cardiff Blues.

  48. Kick-off

    Cardiff Blues 12-0 Zebre

The second half is underway at Arms Park.

  49. Get involved via #ScrumV

    As it stands...

    table

Here's how the Pro12 table looks at half-time of the final round of games.

Munster and Ospreys at home in the semi-finals and Scarlets hanging on to a place in the European Champions' Cup by the skin of their teeth.

Will things change dramatically in the next 40 minutes?

Tweet using #ScrumV, email us or get in touch via Facebook.

  50. Kick-off

    Treviso 13-3 Scarlets

The action is back underway in Italy. Can Scarlets turn things around with the wind at their backs or will they have to rely on other results to qualify for the European Champions Cup?

  51. Post update

    Ospreys captain Alun Wyn Jones

We've been a bit lacklustre with some possession, so we need to tighten that up in the second half.

  52. Post update

    Mark Jones

    Former Scarlets and Wales wing

    mark jones

Scarlets won't want to qualify for Europe without having put in a good performance and earning the right to be there.

  53. Half-time: Munster 33-10 Dragons

No question about the most popular try of the afternoon so far. Paul O'Connell claims Munster's fifth touch-down of the afternoon.

  54. Post update

    Adrian Hadley

Former Wales wing on BBC Radio Wales

Ospreys have missed an opportunity to get that fourth try but it's been a good half.

Ben John and Dan Baker, off the scrum, have been impressive running the ball.

They did have a big breeze behind them in the first half, so they need to keep the ball in hand in the second half and make sure of the win.

  55. Half-time: Edinburgh 10-17 Leinster

Substitute Jack Conan crosses for the visitors and Ian Madigan nails the conversion to give Leinster a seven point lead at the interval.

  56. Half-time: Connacht 0-24 Ospreys

Last play of the half is an attacking line-out for Ospreys, but Connacht steal the ball and show some adventure.

The move stalls though and that's it for the first 40 minutes.

  57. No try: Connacht 0-24 Ospreys

Walker clearly lost the ball as he stretched out, might even have been a double movement as well - so no fourth try for Ospreys.

  58. Glasgow 6-10 Ulster

Finn Russell cuts the lead to a point with a penalty, but Ian Humphreys is again on target for the visitors. It's going to be a nail-biter.

  59. Half-time

    Cardiff Blues 12-0 Zebre

Tries by Alex Cuthbert and Gethin Jenkins give the home side the advantage at half-time at Arms Park. Bottom-side Zebre had lock Marco Bortolami sent to the sin bin. It is not looking good for the Italians who need to turn things around and hope Scarlets produce a second-half comeback against Treviso, if they are to qualify for next season's European Champions Cup.

  60. Try review

Eli Walker dives for the line after Rhys Webb releases the wing. Did he knock on going for the try?

  61. Connacht 0-24 Ospreys

There's a little break in play and support staff stream on with water for the players, about five minutes from half-time.

Galway is obviously very balmy at this time of year.

  62. Half-time

    Treviso 13-3 Scarlets

Scarlets may have to rely on other results as it stands if they are to seal a top six finish and automatic qualification into the European Champions Cup. Treviso are on course to qualify thanks to a try from hooker Davide Giazzon and full back Jayden Hayward. Wayne Pivac's side were playing into the wind and will hope their first half performance does not mean they blow their European chances.

  63. Get involved via #scrumv

So is this afternoon meeting your expectations? Let us know what you think of it so far.

Ian Rees tweets: "Shape up Scarlets! Please don't say we've got to rely on the Ospreys!"

Dan Todd says: "Too easy this for the Ospreys. Thought Connacht might offer a stiff challenge. I was wrong."

And Angus Morris raves: "Ospreys are on fire!"

Tweet using #ScrumV, email us, or get in touch via Facebook.

  64. Connacht 0-24 Ospreys

Waves of Ospreys attacks are bearing down on the Connacht 22.

Dan Evans' running lines from full-back are causing particular problems for defenders, while Josh Matavesi in the centre is giving his supporting runners space and time.

  65. Glasgow 3-7 Ulster

Glasgow second row is sent to the sin-bin and Ulster take advantage with Chris Henry claiming the try and Ian Humphreys adding the extra points.

  66. Converted try - Cardiff Blues 12-0 Zebre

    try

Zebre's Marco Bortolami is sent to the sin bin for coming in at the side. Blues make their extra man count as prop Gethin Jenkins dives over from a driving lineout. Rhys Patchell adds the conversion.

  67. Edinburgh 10-10 Leinster

It's all square at Murrafield as flanker Hamish Watson claims Edinburgh's first try which Ian Hidalgo-Clyne converts.

  68. Converted try: Connacht 0-24 Ospreys

Ospreys are running riot as Dan Evans makes the half-break, Hanno Dirksen takes it on and then finds Rhys Webb, this season's supreme try predator, who lopes over untouched.

It's a more difficult conversion for Biggar, but well within the fly-half's capabilities and he adds the extra two points.

  69. Try - Cardiff Blues 5-0 Zebre

    try

Alex Cuthbert gathers full back Alex Summerhill's pass to power over in the corner for the home side. Rhys Patchell misses the conversion.

  70. Post update

    Adrian Hadley

Former Wales wing on BBC Radio Wales

They're just so clinical. Absolutely great play again by the Ospreys.

Rhys Webb is always on someone's supporting shoulder.

  71. Try

    Treviso 13-3 Scarlets

    try

Jayden Hayward intercepts Adam Warren's pass and evades the Scarlets' defence to score in the corner. The full back narrowly misses the conversion.

  72. Try: Connacht 0-22 Ospreys

    Rhys Webb try!

  73. Post update

    Adrian Hadley on Ospreys' try

Former Wales wing on BBC Radio Wales

    Ben John's angle was brilliant.

His angle was brilliant for the first try for Dan Biggar and he did it again.

  74. Converted try: Connacht 0-17 Ospreys

    try

Ben John does the damage again, going straight under the posts with another angled run. Another conversion laid on a plate for Biggar.

  75. Connacht 0-10 Ospreys

We've just had an email informing us of the players who will be leaving Connacht at the end of the season - interesting timing with the team in action at the moment, but here it is:

Michael Swift (263 appearances), Miah Nikora (82 appearances), Mick Kearney (68 appearances), Willie Faloon (39 appearances), Sean Henry (16 appearances), Mata Fifita (15 appearances), Mils Muliaina (11 appearances), Shane Layden (4 appearances).

Willie Ruane, CEO at Connacht Rugby, adds that: "We will pay tribute to their contribution with presentations to them on the pitch and at our Awards Night following Saturday's home game with Ospreys."

    There's lovely...

  76. Penalty - Treviso 8-3 Scarlets

    penalty

Scarlets come close to scoring a try but prop Rob Evans spills the ball near the line. Treviso are penalised for being offside and Rhys Priestland slots over the penalty.

  77. Munster 28-10 Dragons

Conor Murray quickly adds a second try to give Munster their bonus point - a home draw in the semi-final is looking a banker for the Irish province now. Ian Keatley adds the conversion.

  78. Cardiff Blues 0-0 Zebre

Still no score at the Arms Park.

  79. Replacement: Connacht 0-10 Ospreys

Yep, that's the end of Marmion, with John Cooney taking over at scrum-half for the home side.

  80. Edinburgh 3-10 Leinster

Noel Reid claims the first try of the match at Murrayfield, with Ian Madigan adding the conversion. Europe looks a little more remote for Edinburgh suddenly.

  81. Connacht 0-10 Ospreys

Connacht scrum-half Kieran Marmion looks in a bit of bother, hopping around like he's stubbed his toe on a very big bed post. Or had it trodden on by a very big forward, the pain factor is similar.

  82. Munster 21-10 Dragons

Munster are a try away from the bonus point they need as Ireland scrum-half Conor Murray claims their third touchdown and Ian Keatley converts.

  83. Connacht 0-10 Ospreys

A little altercation breaks out between Ospreys lock Alun Wyn Jones and Connacht centre Bundee Aki - a bit of shoving getting the crowd going.

  84. Penalty - Treviso 8-0 Scarlets

It's all going wrong for Wayne Pivac's side. Jayden Hayward strokes over a penalty from straight in front of the posts after Scarlets are penalised at a scrum.

  85. Close! - Treviso 5-0 Scarlets

What a try that would have been! Treviso number eight Matt Luamanu gathers his own chip over the Scarlets defence, but is stopped just short of the line before knocking on.

  86. Edinburgh 3-3 Leinster

Ian Madigan strikes with a drop-goal to square things up.

  87. Post update

    Adrian Hadley on Ospreys' try

Former Wales wing on BBC Radio Wales

Absolutely great try by Dan Biggar. The Connacht scrum got disintegrated by the Ospreys and it was a great line by Ben John.

  88. Converted try: Connacht 0-10 Ospreys

    try

Ben John made the break for that try, surging through the middle before Biggar finished it off - the fly-half making his own conversion very, very easy.

  89. Try: Connacht 0-8 Ospreys

    Dan Biggar under the posts!

  90. Post update

    Mark Jones on Treviso's try

    Former Scarlets and Wales wing

It all comes from turnover ball. The net result is you end up defending a lineout on your own five metre line.

Treviso are very accurate when defending set-piece plays so Scarlets need to keep the ball on the pitch and not give away lineout opportunities.

  91. Connacht 0-3 Ospreys

A little pause in the action as Connacht lock Andrew Browne gets some attention.

Referee Marius Mitrea takes the opportunity to give Ospreys prop Nicky Smith a gentle warning about his binding.

  92. Try - Treviso 5-0 Scarlets

    Try

First blood to Treviso as hooker Davide Giazzon drives over from an attacking line out. Full-back Jayden Hayward misses the conversion.

  93. Connacht 0-3 Ospreys

Justin Tipuric shows great hands to release Hanno Dirksen down the Ospreys' right wing, but Connacht come across well to snuff out the danger.

  94. Connacht 0-3 Ospreys

This being Galway the breeze goes from stiff to teeth-chattering if the touch judges' flags are anything to go by.

Connacht are used to making the conditions work for them, so the second half could be very interesting indeed.

  95. Converted try: Munster 14-10 Dragons

C J Stander keeps the scorebord rattling with a second Munster try, with Ian Keatley adding the conversion.

  96. Try saving tackle - Treviso 0-0 Scarlets

Scarlets scrum-half Gareth Davies manages to get across to thwart his opposite number Henry Seniloli close to the line as the match opens up.

  97. Glasgow 3-0 Ulster

Finn Russell is on target with a penalty for Glasgow in the match between two teams in the top four.

  98. Edinburgh 3-0 Leinster

Sam Hidalgo Clyne is on target with an early penalty to give the home team the edge.

  99. Treviso 0-0 Scarlets

Scarlets enjoying plenty of possession but unable to penetrate the Italian side's defence, as they play into the wind at a sunny Stadio Monigo. Most of the action has taken place between both 22m lines.

  100. Penalty: Connacht 0-3 Ospreys

Dan Biggar makes Connacht pay for that scrum penalty and makes use of the breeze to send a kick between the posts from five metres inside his own half.

  101. Munster 7-10 Dragons

There's a flurry of early scores in Munster where Jason Tovey gave the Dragons an early lead with a penalty before Andrew Smith crossed for the home team with Keatley converting.

But the Dragons hit back instantly with Ashton Hewitt crossing for a try which Tovey converts.

  102. Connacht v Ospreys

I spoke too soon as Ospreys respond at the next scrum, splintering the Connacht eight.

  103. Connacht v Ospreys

Some early danger signs for Ospreys at the first scrum, as Connacht put the pressure on to earn a free-kick. Predictably they opt for another scrum.

  104. Connacht v Ospreys

Ospreys kick off and Connacht field well, opting to keep the ball in hand and work their way steadily out of their 22.

The Irish are playing into a stiff breeze so it's a sensible tactic for them in this first half.

  105. Connacht v Ospreys: Almost there

Moments before kick-off now and the atmosphere is building at the Sportsground.

I'm pretty sure I can hear the Dropkick Murphys pounding out through the tannoys. Quality music!

  107. Kick-off - Treviso v Scarlets

Treviso fly-off Luciano Orquera gets the match underway at the Stadio Monigo.

  108. Post update

    Adrian Hadley

Former Wales wing on BBC Radio Wales

It's going to be vital for the Ospreys to perform today.

They did the hard work against Glasgow last week but Connacht will be tough opponents.

Ospreys have got good consistency in selection - they've kept James King at blind-side flanker who was excellent against Glasgow and deserves his place.

  110. Post update

    Connacht coach Pat Lam

We know the challenge we face against Ospreys, it's a huge challenge.

The last six weeks I've been keeping an eye on them and they've been very impressive.

Every team needs generals and they've got some world-class generals - Rhys Webb, Dan Biggar, Alun Wyn Jones.

  111. Edinburgh v Leinster

Edinburgh need a bonus-point win to stand any chance of breaking into the top six and qualifying for the Champions Cup, but will also need Scarlets and Connacht to slip up.

Like Connacht there is also the possibility of a European play-off for the Scottish team. Leinster can't reach the play-offs and have secured a Champions Cup berth so have nothing to play for, but it is unlikely the 2014 European Champions will just come to the Scottish capital to roll over.

    Team news

Edinburgh: Jack Cuthbert; Dougie Fife, Sam Beard, Andries Strauss, Tim Visser; Tom Heathcote, Sam Hidlago-Clyne; Alasdair Dickinson, Ross Ford, John Andress, Anton Bresler, Ben Toolis, Fraser McKenzie, Hamish Watson, Cornell Du Preez.

Replacements: Neil Cochrane, Rory Sutherland, Simon Berghan, Ollie Atkins, James Hilterbrand, Nathan Fowles, Jade Te Rure, Tom Brown.

Leinster: Rob Kearney; Zane Kirchner, Colm O'Shea, Noel Reid, Dave Kearney; Ian Madigan, Isaac Boss; Jack McGrath, Richardt Strauss, Mike Ross, Devin Toner, Mike McCarthy, Jordi Murphy, Sean O'Brien, Jamie Heaslip (capt).

Replacements: Aaron Dundon, Michael Bent, Tadhg Furlong, Tom Denton, Jack Conan, Luke McGrath, Jimmy Gopperth, Cian Kelleher.

  112. Cardiff Blues v Zebre

Cardiff Blues will finish 10th in the table whatever the result against bottom side Zebre and will be lowest placed of the four Welsh regions.

But if the Italians repeat last season's victory at the Arms Park and Treviso lose, then Zebre will represent their country in next season's Champions Cup.

    Team news

  113. Treviso v Scarlets

A victory, draw or even a high-scoring loss with two bonus points would be enough for Scarlets to secure automatic qualification for the Champions Cup.

    Pro12 bottom six

Depending on how Connacht and Edinburgh fare, even a loss could be enough for Scarlets. Treviso will be going all out for a win themselves to stay ahead of Zebre and claim Italy's entry into the Champions Cup.

Treviso: Jayden Hayward; Andrea Pratichetti, Luca Morisi, Enrico Bacchin, Simone Ragusi; Sam Christie, Henry Seniloli; Mat Luamanu, Francesco Minto, Paul Derbyshire, Corniel Van Zyl, Antonio Pavanello (capt), Rupert Harden, Davide Giazzon, Matteo Zanusso.

Replacements: Ryan Elias, Phil John, Wyn Jones, George Earle, Rory Pitman, Rhodri Williams, Steven Shingler, Daniel Jones.

  114. Munster v Dragons

Munster must win and ideally win with a bonus point to overhaul either Glasgow or Ospreys and keep Ulster at bay.

Dragons will finish ninth whatever the result, but will they be able to do a favour for their Welsh compatriot Ospreys?

    Team news

    Munster: F Jones; K Earls, A Smith, D Hurley (capt), R O'Mahony; I Keatley, C Murray; J Ryan, E Guinazu, BJ Botha; B Holland, P O'Connell; D Ryan, P Butler, CJ Stander.

    Replacements: N Scannell, D Kilcoyne, S Archer, S Dougall, J O'Donoghue, D Williams, JJ Hanrahan, A Conway.

    Newport Gwent Dragons: J Tovey; T Prydie, T Morgan, J Dixon, H Amos; D Jones, J Evans; B Stankovich, H Gustafson, B Harris; C Hill, R Landman (capt); N Crosswell, N Cudd, T Faletau.

    Replacements: R Buckley, P Price, L Fairbrother, M Screech, J Benjamin, R Rees, A Hewitt, G Rhys Jones.

  115. Glasgow v Ulster

Arguably this is the tie of the round, with second playing fourth as Ulster attempt to inflict Glasgow's first home defeat in the Pro12 this season.

The loser will definitely face a trip away in the play-off semi-finals, while the winner could still miss out on home comfort depending on the Ospreys and Munster results.

    Team news

    Glasgow Warriors: S Hogg; T Seymour, R Vernon, P Horne, S Lamont; F Russell, N Matawalu; R Grant, D Hall, R de Klerk; J Gray, Al Kellock (c); J Strauss, C Fusaro, A Ashe

    Replacements: P MacArthur, G Reid, M Cusack, L Nakarawa, R Wilson, H Pyrgos, D Weir, P Murchie.

    Ulster: L Ludik; R Scholes, S Arnold, S McCloskey, M Allen, I Humphreys, P Marshall; A Warwick, R Herring, R Lutton, L Stevenson, F van der Merwe, C Ross, C Henry (c), R Diack

    Replacements: R Best, K McCall, B Ross, I Henderson, R Wilson, R Pienaar, P Jackson, T Bowe.

  116. Connacht v Ospreys

A win could well be enough to earn leaders Ospreys a home draw in the play-offs, but a bonus-point win would make absolutely sure.

But that could prove tricky against a Connacht side who have proved a really obstinate obstacle at home in Galway and have an outside chance of sixth place if they win and Scarlets lose in Treviso.

Even a loss could see the Irishmen claim a place in the Champions Cup play-off against Gloucester, but that would rely on Leinster beating Edinburgh.

    Team news

    Connacht: T O'Halloran; F Carr, R Henshaw, B Aki, M Healy; J Carty, K Marmion; D Buckley, T McCartney, R Ah You; A Browne, A Muldowney; J Muldoon (c), E Masterson, E McKeon.

    Replacements: D Heffernan, JP Cooney, F Bealham, M Swift, G Naoupu, J Cooney, M Nikora, S O'Leary.

    Ospreys: D Evans; H Dirksen, B John, J Matavesi, E Walker; D Biggar, R Webb; N Smith, S Baldwin, D Arhip, T Ardron, A Wyn Jones (captain), J King, J Tipuric, D Baker.

    Replacements: S Parry, M Thomas, A Jarvis, R Thornton, D Lydiate, T Habberfield, S Davies, J Spratt.

  117. Today's runners and riders

So, without further ado, let's take a look at those all-important fixtures and the team news.

  118. Abacus and fingers at the ready

If two or more teams finish with the same number of league points, their placings will be determined by the following criteria in descending order:

    •number of matches won

•the difference between points for and points against

    •the number of tries scored

    •the most points scored

•the difference between tries for and tries against

•the fewest number of red cards received

•the fewest number of yellow cards received

    Simples...

  119. Post update

Ospreys fly-half Dan Biggar leads the "most points" list, but trails Leinster counterpart Ian Madigan in the race for the award given for the player with the best kick at goal success rate. Munster's JJ Hanrahan won the Golden Boot in 2013-2014.

  122. So what's at stake then?

Let's start with the top of the table where the teams that finish first and second in the table will be at home in the Pro12 play-off semi-finals - first v fourth and second v third.

No team has ever won a semi-final away from home since the introduction of the play-offs.

Beyond that there is also the question of qualification for the European Champions Cup.

    Pro12 Top Six

The team that finishes highest from each of Ireland, Italy, Scotland and Wales gains a place, then the next three highest-placed teams in the table of any nationality.

Even after that there's a chance of a second bite of the cherry, as the next highest-placed team after that will enter a play-off with the seventh-placed team in England's Aviva Premiership - which is Gloucester - for the right to play the seventh-highest team in France's Top 14 for a place in the Champions' Cup.

The rest will play in the second-tier European Challenge Cup.

  123. Pro12 final round - in for a penny, in for a pound
