Northampton 21-23 Leicester
These two East Midlands neighbours are once again separated by just the two points, thanks to the boot of Stephen Myler.
Any idea which way this is going yet? Nope, me neither.
Another knock-on from the restart means another scrum, but this time Northampton come out on top.
Stephen Myler chooses to follow Freddie Burns' lead and go for goal...
Northampton 18-23 Leicester
Freddie Burns makes no mistake whatsoever and Tigers just stretch that lead back out ever so slightly.
There's never been a huge amount in this game, but Leicester have been ahead ever since the 10th minute and we should all know what good front runners they are by now.
There's nothing like a couple of reset scrums to slow the game down. Not that Leicester will be complaining though, as they draw the penalty from pretty much right in front of the posts.
Freddie Burns asks for the tee...
Where do we go from here then? I wonder if Leicester would actually take a draw if offered now.
Freddie Burns, by the way, is receiving some treatment on what looks an ankle injury. It looks like he'll carry on for now.
Northampton 18-20 Leicester
And, having spread the ball wide, Saints have the try they so desperately needed. Centre George Pisi is the man with it, forcing his way over and just - and I mean just - grounding the ball.
Now can Stephen Myler bring the scores level? Unfortunately for him, the answer is no. His kick hits the right-hand upright.
Another Northampton advantage! They're five metres shy of the line, four metres shy of the line...
This looks more promising for Northampton this time, spreading the ball wide with an advantage in their pocket...
But the move breaks down and so we'll head back for the infringement. At what point does the referee lose patience and brandish yellow?
Either way, we're back for another line-out...
The rolling maul is exactly that - rolling.
Until it's stopped around five metres short, anyhow, but the Saints pack did at least do just about enough to draw the penalty for not releasing.
Back into touch we pop...
Saints steal the ball against the head, and then Tigers concede a 10th penalty of the evening before the 50-minute mark.
Stephen Myler opts for the corner...
Ben Youngs will insert at a scrum after Northampton knock-on, with the sun still shining but the Franklin's Gardens pitch now almost fully covered by shade.
"Oh when the Saints go marching in," is the cry from the stands.
Northampton 13-20 Leicester
Freddie Burns lands the three-pointer and increases the gap to seven points again.
This second half is just simmering at the moment, yet to really burst into life.
Saints turn the ball over soon enough, however, and Harry Maillinder puts boot to ball and hoofs it out of play.
He's not too impressed with the touch judge, mind you, claiming his kick landed further upfield than signaled. I'd say there's not much in it.
Nonetheless, Leicester win a penalty at the line-out this time and so it's Freddie Burns who'll kick at goal.
But Freddie Burns loses patience and pokes the ball out of play on the far side.
And it looks a decent option too, as Leicester steal the line-out. They're 10 metres out now, knocking on the Northampton door...
But it's Leicester who've started very much on the front foot, as Manu Tuilagi makes a couple of breaks to get his team moving in the right direction.
They're approaching the 22, into a sixth phase...
Northampton 13-17 Leicester
Stephen Myler's right peg gets the biggest second half of Northampton's season to date up and running.
The Saints desperately need to beat their local rivals if they are to reach the play-offs. It's now or never...
HT: Northampton 13-17 Leicester
Now then, the two teams are back out at Franklin's Gardens so let's get this show back on the road...
FT: Saracens 22-12 Harlequins
Saracens extended their lead at the top of the Premiership with victory over London rivals Harlequins in front of 80,000 fans at Wembley Stadium.
Chris Ashton scored twice and England lock George Kruis added another as Sarries led 19-9 at half-time, with Ben Botica kicking all of Quins' points.
Botica and Owen Farrell each landed a penalty in a try-less second period.
Saracens are now four points clear of second-placed Wasps, while Harlequins' play-off hopes look all but over.
FT: Worcester 35-54 Wasps
Christian Wade equalled the Premiership record for most tries in a game as he scored six against Worcester to lift Wasps to second in the table.
England winger Wade scored four tries in the first half before adding two more from interceptions in the second to seal a play-off place for Wasps.
Worcester scored six tries of their own in a game which totalled 14 at Sixways.
Wade, 24, equalled the previous record set by Saracens' Ryan Constable against Bedford exactly 16 years to the day.
