  1. Sale 14-3 Bathpublished at 14:58 British Summer Time 17 April 2016

Bath are moving the ball around nicely but Sale are not offering up any space in this game. The visitors' only points on the scoreboard so far came from the boot of George Ford.

Danny Cipriani is certainly getting himself involved, kicking the ball 60m down the field to clear his side's lines when Bath had a sustained spell of pressure.

Argentine centre Gonzalo Tiesi will make his first appearance of the season for Newcastle Falcons after injury, as one of four changes to face Irish.

He links up with compatriot Juan Pablo Socino, Alex Tait moves to wing with Simon Hammersley in at full-back, while Sean Robinson comes into the pack.

  4. try

Try (Addison, con Cipriani)published at 14:51 British Summer Time 17 April 2016

    Sale 14-3 Bath

Sale are once more patient as they camp themselves deep inside Bath's half, but a cute little move from Danny Cipriani creates an overlap for Will Addison to go over for his fourth Premiership try of the season.

Cipriani then adds the extras. Clinical from the Sharks.

  6. Penalty (Ford)published at 14:45 British Summer Time 17 April 2016

    Sale 7-3 Bath

Bath are on the scoreboard through the boot of George Ford after Sale are penalised for not rolling away, but it could have been more.

Ford had the chance to play it out to Matt Banahan for an almost certain try, but thought he had spotted a gap for himself. There wasn't one, and Sam Tuitupou smashed him.

Several games have been labelled "must win" for London Irish this season, but they really are drinking in the last chance saloon this afternoon in the North East.

Four points adrift of Newcastle at the bottom, Irish have to do something they haven't for nearly 14 months at Kingston Park, win an away Premiership match.

Irish edged the contest between these two earlier in the season 20-15 at the Madejski Stadium.

It could well be an equally as tense affair in today's return.

  8. try

Try (Cobilas, con Cipriani)published at 14:41 British Summer Time 17 April 2016

    Sale 7-0 Bath

Sale are very, very patient as they keep the ball alive around 10m from the Bath line, before Vadim Cobilas finds a gap to give his side the lead.

Danny Cipriani does what George Ford couldn't do and nails his first kick of the match.

  9. Missed penalty (Ford)published at 14:37 British Summer Time 17 April 2016

    Sale 0-0 Bath

After a couple of early scrums at the AJ Bell, Sale are penalised for pulling down a maul, and from an acute angle Bath's George Ford misses a chance to put the visitors in front.

  18. Welcome to decision daypublished at 14:15 British Summer Time 17 April 2016

Because today a decision on London Irish's future may well be made.

The Exiles travel to relegation rivals Newcastle Falcons this afternoon, knowing anything other than a victory at Kingston Park will all but send them down to the Championship.

    It's going to be tasty.

So, without further ado, let's get stuck in to today's Premiership rugby union.
