  1. try

Try (Scott, con Laidlaw)published at 21:22 British Summer Time 9 September 2016

    Worcester 20-16 Gloucester

The visitors had to respond and, to their credit they have.

Off the back of a scrum Gloucester flood forward and centre Matt Scott is backing up play, getting the ball from Mark Atkinson and dotting down.

It's a third try of the season in just his second match in a Cherry and White shirt - it's game on with 17 minutes to go.

  2. try

Try (Humphreys)published at 21:15 British Summer Time 9 September 2016

That was some finish by young half-time replacement Perry Humphreys for 14-man Worcester.

He fends off England international Matt Kvesic to touch down for a third try of the match for the Warriors.

Ryan Lamb's conversion is caught in the wind and missed, but is an 11-point buffer enough for the hosts with 22 minutes remaining?

  3. Half-timepublished at 21:15 British Summer Time 9 September 2016

    Sale 9-7 Harlequins

Half-time at the AJ Bell Stadium, where Sale have a narrow lead over Harlequins.

Chris Robshaw's try replied to three Sale penalties, all struck between the posts by Dan Mugford.

There was a big hold-up right at the start of the match as Sharks forward TJ Ioane received several minutes of treatment before being carried off on a stretcher - we'll attempt to get an update on his condition as soon as possible.

  4. Red card (Faosiliva)published at 21:10 British Summer Time 9 September 2016

    Worcester 15-9 Gloucester

This could be a game-changing moment in the M5 derby.

Worcester's Alafoti Faosiliva leads with his forearm and catches Mariano Galarza plum on the chin.

It doesn't look pretty, but was it intentional? A very difficult call in fairness to referee Luke Pearce, who deliberated with TMO Stuart Terheege on the incident before sending Faosiliva on his way.

Contenders for the Lions in 2017

Tonight we're asking you for the Premiership players that you think could or should be on the plane to New Zealand next summer.

Chris Robshaw, Henry Slade and Alex Lozowski are among the suggestions we've had so far on Twitter.

They don't have to be the obvious ones - four years ago, prop Mako Vunipola and hooker Tom Youngs featured in all three Tests against Australia, despite having only made their international debuts for England only seven months earlier.

    Sale 9-7 Harlequins

    Hugh Woozencroft
BBC Radio 5 live at the AJ Bell Stadium

Harlequins have started to look fluent in attack now and that's not good news for Sale.

A very aggressive start from the Sharks' forwards is now wearing on them as we approach half-time and as long as Quins control the ball, they could have some more joy shortly.

This may be their chance - Sale lock Jonathan Mills has been shown a yellow card for coming in at the side with eight minutes of the first half remaining, and the Sharks are down to 14 men for the next 10 minutes.

Ah, it appears we have an interested spectator at Sixways.

Is Eddie Jones enjoying what he's seeing from Worcester and Gloucester?

  8. Missed penaltypublished at 21:01 British Summer Time 9 September 2016

    Worcester 15-9 Gloucester

Gloucester are clearly concerned about the home side's scrummaging prowess, and give away a penalty as a result.

Fly-half Ryan Lamb steps up but can only hit the outside of the post, and a subsequent attack by the Warriors breaks down when veteran Donncha O'Callaghan is penalised.

  9. try

Try (Robshaw, con Evans)published at 20:57 British Summer Time 9 September 2016

    Sale 9-7 Harlequins

After a laboured start at the AJ Bell Stadium, Harlequins have their first points on the board.

They repeatedly turned down the chance to go for the posts, instead electing to kick to touch, and it's rewarded as England flanker Chris Robshaw rumbles over for the visitors.

  10. Penalty (Laidlaw)published at 20:55 British Summer Time 9 September 2016

    Worcester 15-9 Gloucester

That's not how you start a half...

Worcester concede a penalty inside the first 90 seconds and Scotland international Greig Laidlaw pings over with ease.

The home side have the wind against them this half too, so must be wary.

  11. Kick-offpublished at 20:54 British Summer Time 9 September 2016

    Worcester 15-6 Gloucester

We're back under way at Sixways and there's been a forced change for Worcester, with try-scorer Ben Te'o being concussed and replaced by Perry Humphreys.

  12. Penalty (Mugford)published at 20:52 British Summer Time 9 September 2016

    Sale 9-0 Harlequins

Harlequins captain Danny Care is given a bit of a warning by the referee after his team are penalised at the breakdown again.

Sale fly-half Dan Mugford steps up and slots over his third penalty of the night, at the midway point of the first period.

  13. Postpublished at 20:48 British Summer Time 9 September 2016

    Sale 6-0 Harlequins

Another first-half injury at the AJ Bell Stadium, as Harlequins and England prop Joe Marler is forced off the field.

Owen Evans is on in the front row.

  14. Penalty (Mugford)published at 20:43 British Summer Time 9 September 2016

    Sale 6-0 Harlequins

Sale's driving maul earns the home side a penalty and Dan Mugford makes it two kicks from two from the tee.

The Sharks on top in the first 15 minutes.

  15. Half-timepublished at 20:40 British Summer Time 9 September 2016

    Worcester 15-6 Gloucester

Gloucester try building up a head of steam but Warriors have enough back-up to win the penalty and force the half-time whistle.

It's been a frustrating 40 minutes for the Cherry and Whites, who had a Charlie Sharples 'try' correctly ruled out, while Worcester have been clinical with the help of Ben Te'o and Cooper Vuna, who looked pretty pleased after going over.

  16. Penalty (Mugford)published at 20:35 British Summer Time 9 September 2016

    Sale 3-0 Harlequins

That'll be a nice settler for Sale fly-half Dan Mugford, who has slotted over the first points of their match against Harlequins.

Mugford, who is making his first start for the Sharks, was playing in the Championship for Nottingham last season.

Quite a big step up to be facing Chris Robshaw, Danny Care, Jamie Roberts et al in the Quins line-up.

  17. Penalty (Lamb)published at 20:34 British Summer Time 9 September 2016

    Worcester 15-6 Gloucester

A lack of discipline from Gloucester leads to a penalty and from more than 40 metres out, near the left touchline, Ryan Lamb spectacularly finds the middle of the posts.

We're approaching half time at Sixways and Worcester have really turned their performance around.

  18. Food for thoughtpublished at 20:31 British Summer Time 9 September 2016

    Worcester 12-6 Gloucester

He may have done his fair share of gesticulating from the sidelines, but David Humphreys and his Gloucester side may rue not making more of their impressive start.

The stats aren't exactly in his side's favour either - the Cherry and Whites have won just once in the past 10 years at the home of their rivals - that was by a single point in May 2010.

  19. Postpublished at 20:27 British Summer Time 9 September 2016

    Sale 0-0 Harlequins

An injury problem inside two minutes for Sale, after what was a bright start for the hosts against Harlequins.

TJ Ioane has been receiving treatment for several minutes and is about to be taken off on a stretcher. Cameron Neild is on to replace him in the back row.

  20. try

Try (Vuna, con Lamb)published at 20:23 British Summer Time 9 September 2016

    Worcester 12-6 Gloucester

It's a free-flowing Warriors move from left to right, ending with fly-half Ryan Lamb getting another assist, playing in former Australia international Cooper Vuna who goes over unchallenged in the corner.

It goes to the TMO for a suspected forward pass but there's absolutely nothing wrong with that.

Lamb converts excellently, and the Warriors have gone up a couple gears here at Sixways as we enter the 33rd minute.
