It's almost time for kick-off at Ashton Gate. Both sides are out of the dressing rooms and out on the pitch.

But before the action gets under way both sides are going to observe a minute's silence following the tragic events earlier this week in Westminster.

Bristol have won just once in the Premiership since the 12th round, a 12-11 victory at home to Bath on 26 February.

Bristol have won two of their past three home games in the Premiership at Ashton Gate.

Gloucester's only victory in their past four Premiership matches was a 31-23 success at home to Saracens in round 15.

Gloucester have not won away from home in the competition since a visit to Sale on 16 September.

Kingsholm was the venue in early December when these two met earlier in the season.

Gloucester scored four second-half tries to come from behind and secure a 26-18 bonus-point win over Bristol.

Bristol led 6-0 at the break thanks to two Jason Woodward penalties.

But Gloucester rallied, creating three tries inside 18 minutes after the break, for Matt Scott and Willi Heinz, followed by a penalty try.

James Hook converted all three, but not Henry Purdy's late bonus-point try before Bristol's two late tries.

  9. Tale of the tablepublished at 19:36 Greenwich Mean Time 24 March 2017

    Bristol v Gloucester (19:45 GMT)

After a chastening 41-24 defeat at Worcester in the previous round of fixtures, Bristol are seven points adrift of the Warriors and safety ahead of tonight's game.

Gloucester's indifferent form this season has seen them fall behind the pace in the race for the European Champions Cup places, but victory this evening could take them within two points of seventh-place Harlequins.
