Highlanders 3-3 British and Irish Lions
Highlanders playing their rugby at supersonic speed.
Malakai Fekitoa busts through CJ Stander in midfield - the Ireland back row is not in the game yet - and Teihorangi Walden's smart grubber needs some smart defensive work from Jared Payne to snuff out the danger.

Former Lions and England winger
A breathless start to the Lions' fourth game on tour in perfect conditions under the roof at the home of the Highlanders. There was a very bright start from the home team and Waisake Naholo, the All Blacks wing, came within inches of dotting down after a few minutes.
With the unfortunate tour-ending injury to Stuart Hogg, tonight is a big night for Jared Payne, and after three minutes he put his hand up with that crucial tackle just short of his tryline to keep the Highlanders winger out.
The Highlanders seem the most potent at this point with ball in hand.
The Lions have set up well though, with good line-speed in defence and the set-piece going well again. The only difference in terms of attack is that they don't seem to have the natural ball-playing ability to move possession into the wider channels, as the Lions forwards displayed against the Crusaders.
However, this team is powerful and some bone crunching carries early on are great indications that they can get enough front foot ball. All that's needed now (something that evaded the Lions so far on tour) is to execute and score tries!

Never looked like making it.
Lima Sopoaga tugs his kick well wide.

Jonathan Joseph gets his disco shoes on, dancing away from a couple of tacklers in heavy traffic.
But CJ Stander has been pinged for hanging on on the floor as Waisake Naholo gets over the top and limpets on.
Lima Sopoaga is going to take a pot shot at goal from out wide and 30m from the tryline...

Courtney Lawes was arguably England's best player in the Six Nations, and he told us this week he feels even better about his game now. He's certainly started well here as he makes a bid for the Test squad.
Dan Biggar
Dan Biggar clips it over to level things up.
Highlanders 3-0 British and Irish Lions
Nope.
Tommy Seymour has come up just short.
Rhys Webb lost the ball as he dived over the breakdown carnage to try and dot down.
Back for the penalty advantage for the Lions and Sam Warburton calls forward Dan Biggar...
Highlanders 3-0 British and Irish Lions
Robbie Henshaw with a trademark inside line.
Courtney Lawes scrabbling though after not being held and the Lions are up to within a metre.
Does Tommy Seymour get over? Or what about Rhys Webb in the following phase?
The referee has referred both incidents upstairs...
Highlanders 3-0 British and Irish Lions
The Lions need either more numbers or better body positions in the breakdown.
The tourists have been rumbled once again by the counter-ruck.
Marty Banks kicks out on the full after the Highlanders take the ball back into their own 22m.
Lineout back deep in the hosts' territory...
Highlanders 3-0 British and Irish Lions
Delicious from Rhys Webb as he breaks blind off the back of a scrum and sells a lovely dummy to scamper clear.
Jack Nowell is up in support, but lacks the gas to get clear of the cover.
Webb has had a strong start through, sniping with ball in hand and terrier like in defence.
Highlanders 3-0 British and Irish Lions
Ouch.
Rhys Webb dishes out some punishment with a thumping hit on centre Malakai Fekitoa.
Not a lot of arm-wrapping in that tackle, but a shuddering shoulder as he sent the centre into touch.
Fekitoa is going off for a head injury assessement. Marty Banks on.
Highlanders 3-0 British and Irish Lions
Rhys Webb hoists the box kick from inside his own half to secure some field position.
It is at the cost of possession though.
The Highlanders run back with relish. Tommy Seymour has to be sharp to take down the speedy flanker Gareth Evans.
Highlanders 3-0 British and Irish Lions
Big carries from the Lions forwards.
Kyle Sinckler, Iain Henderson and Courtney Lawes all put their shoulder to the wheel as they bash up over the the Highlanders 22m.
But the breakdown work lets down the pack. Jackson Hemopo snaffles a turnover.
Lima Sopoaga
A straightforward slot for the Highlanders fly-half.
Highlanders 0-0 British and Irish Lions
The Lions give away a gimme of a penalty, bang in front of the sticks.
They will take the three points in the debit column though.
The Highlanders were an excellent tackle from Jared Payne and some quality space filling from Robbie Henshaw away from conceding a try.
Highlanders 0-0 British and Irish Lions
So close.
Waisake Naholo is stopped just short.
Back it comes. An overlap surely for the Highlanders...
Nope, a chance butchered by Malakai Fekitoa.
The Lions on the rack.
Highlanders 0-0 British and Irish Lions
The first dusting of magic from Highlanders wing Waisake Naholo as he leaves Tommy Seymour swiping thin air with a juddering sidestep in the 10m channel.
He is snagged, but that was a warning for the Lions.

Dunedin is a place far more Scottish than Maori, so instead of the haka the Highlanders entered the field to the sound of bagpipes, with their captain Luke Whitelock presenting a claymore sword to Lions skipper Sam Warburton.
