Worcester were punished for a series of sloppy errors and they will have a lot of work to do to repair the damage done this evening.

Referee Matt Carley penalises home player John Hohneck, and Henry Slade has a tricky kick to edge Exeter again.
However the England man's effort drifts wide.

Both sides are trying to win this in the closing stages, which is incredibly good to see.
Chiefs have the territory at the moment though and Henry Slade could well be eyeing up a drop-kick to win this - he's certainly got an eye on it.
What a way it would be to seal it.

Exeter have been uncharacteristically sloppy tonight, way off their best.
But they still look the side most likely to win. That's why they are champions.

He awkwardly manages to catch a sub-standard box kick from Gloucester skipper Will Heinz, before spinning and sprinting to get the try in the corner.
The resulting conversion is so tough, but Henry Slade shows his international class to make it from out wide.

Wow - Chiefs have just thrown the kitchen sink at the hosts... trying every trick in the book.
But there's yet another error when they get close to the try-line, this time a knock-on.
Exeter were ruthless last season, but it's not really happened for them tonight.

Have no fear - Sonatane Takulua is back on target for Newcastle.
Worcester once again are penalised by Wayne Barnes at the breakdown and a penalty follows for the Falcons.
Takulua makes up for his earlier conversion miss and puts Newcastle 20 points ahead with just over 12 minutes remaining.

A nasty collision in midfield sees Gareth Steenson go off for a head injury assessment.
Chiefs then win a kickable penalty and go for the corner instead - would Steenson have pulled rank and taken the three points?
We'll never know, but Exeter have a try-scoring opportunity...

Just 18 minutes remaining at Kingston Park and Newcastle looked to have sealed the win with a third try of the night.
A rumbling, rolling maul barges its way through the Warriors defence and finishes up with hooker Kyle Cooper at the bottom of it.
For the first time tonight, Sonatane Takulua is off-target from the tee, but that was his toughest attempt so far in his defence.
