The Warriors need to strike soon to stay in touch. George Turner bundles his way through the middle, then Tommy Seymour jinks his way past a couple of opponents. Can they find a way through?

Great start from the home side as Tommy Seymour is held up near the line from a Peter Horne offload but the danger quickly disappears as Jerome Garces spots an infringement and Leinster will kick clear.

Finn Russell gets the action started again.

"Too many errors," is the blunt assessment from Glasgow head coach Dave Rennie in a quick touchline interview with Sky Sports.

Finn Russell is playing flat as you like, fixing defenders and putting runners through gaps. His little dink kicks have produced mixed results so far, but that won't deter him from trying the unexpected.

Glasgow need to find something special after the interval.

They went through with four wins last season but losing the first two games would leave them with a mountain to climb.

They don't slip up at Scotstoun very often though...

A really troubling end to the half for Glasgow. First, their scrummage was badly beaten up and that penalty allowed Sexton to kick for the corner. That in itself was a gutsy decision, passing up a shot at goal to go for the try. It was vindicated though as Warriors were powerless to prevent the Leinster rolling line-out maul heading towards the line for Healy to go over again.

Next score is crucial here. If it goes against Glasgow then it's a long way back.

Well, well. The Warriors are up against it here since Leinster have been battling against a strong breeze.

It's been an even, absorbing contest but the visitors just seem that bit sharper when it comes to decision making.

With a penalty coming, Johnny Sexton releases Fergus McFadden but he can't evade a great sliding tackle from Leo Sarto.

Sexton then kicks into the corner...

Stuart Hogg certainly has the distance as he goes for the posts from near halfway. Accuracy is another matter. It flies well wide.

Ali Price snaffles a fumbled ball but Glasgow can't profit as Tommy Seymour can't hold on to a clever pass under pressure from Jamie Bhatti. With an advantage, a scrum comes the way of the hosts but it's all very stop-start in the tricky conditions.

Another good interception from Leinster breaks up a Glasgow attack started by a good surge from Tim Swinson.

Finn Russell then comes a cropper, trying to slide on the turf to gather and gives away a rather awkward knock-on.

Stuart Hogg gets a head of steam up as he races from his own half but Joey Carbery gets a paw to the ball to intercept the attempted offload.

Tim Swinson is back on for the Warriors after a check on that earlier bang to the head.

The Glasgow pack are penalised and the pressure is off Leinster, although Johnny Sexton's low kick into the wind doesn't get very far.

Leo Sarto crashes through a couple of tackles as Glasgow make good ground. Finn Russell is maybe in too much of a hurry as he chips to the corner and the ball again skips out of play after a bounce on the soggy plastic.

Ryan Wilson is in the wars again; a clash of heads this time. The Glasgow captain doesn't want to go but he's led off by the medical team and Rob Harley is on as a permanent replacement.

Tim Swinson is also down, with Scott Cummings taking his place in the second row for now.

'Brutal' is a word you'll hear a lot from Glasgow head coach Dave Rennie. He wants Warriors to become more brutal. Leinster are a brutal side. Guess what? The opening 25 minutes have been brutal.

Leinster hammered away at the Glasgow line, very much as Exeter did last weekend, and the dam eventually burst. Anything Glasgow get today they'll have to work incredibly hard for.
