    Edinburgh 7-7 Munster

It's a scrum to Edinburgh on halfway. They get the penalty- that's now five conceded by each team- and Jaco Van der Walt thumps it down the park. Not really sure what was wrong with that scrum.

It's nothing more than a penalty. They've both genuinely gone for the ball and tried to catch it at the same time.

    Edinburgh 7-7 Munster

The call is just a penalty. Edinburgh clear the ball down the pitch and will have the line-out just inside Munster's half.

Now then. It's a penalty to Edinburgh. Joey Carbery puts a brilliant kick up. Andrew Conway and Darcy Graham compete for the ball and Graham comes off worse, despite gathering the ball. He stays on the deck and the TMO is having a look for foul play.

    Chris Dean

The answer, is yes. It's the first time Edinburgh have tried to get width into their play, and it pays off.

Darcy Graham makes the initial break. Edinburgh reset and Chris Dean is in space, beats Conor Murray and scores. Jaco van der Walt converts. Game on.

    Edinburgh 0-7 Munster

Here come Edinburgh. It's spun wide right to Damien Hoyland and he's brought down. Bill Mata then trucks it up. Much better pace from Edinburgh. They're 10 metres out. Can they breach the red wall?

    Edinburgh 0-7 Munster

It's not pretty rugby. Another sequence of tight phase-play ends with another penalty. This time it's Edinburgh captain Stuart McInally who gets over the ball and is awarded the decision.

Referee Pascal Gauzere is certainly rewarding the man on his feet at the ruck.

Conor Murray throws down Henry Pyrgos and for me that's a penalty. You can't do that off the ball. You've got a guy getting assaulted by another player and the TMO isn't even looking at it.

    Edinburgh 0-7 Munster

This is a lesson in defending being given by the men in red. Another turnover won and they kick their penalty to touch. They're in possession just outside the Edinburgh 22.

Quick thinking from Keith Earls. The ball bobbled to him after the pressure from the scrum.

    Keith Earls

It's a rush of blood by Henry Pyros. He slaps the ball out of his opposite number Conor Murray's hands. The Edinburgh players are turning round to ready themselves for a defensive set after the penalty goes against them.

But Keith Earls is alert, plays the advantage and touches down. Simple. Joey Carbery converts.

Scrum five to Munster. Duhan Van der Merwe is judged to have carried the ball over his own line after Conor Murray's box kick was spilled. It's incredibly tight- but after consultation with the TMO, Pascal Gauzere sticks with the original call.

    Big scrum coming up.

    Edinburgh 0-0 Munster

Munster have the line-out just inside the Edinburgh half. They've been outstanding in defence. Can they show something in attack?

The first Munster player is the tackler and he's not released. You've got to release the tackler and then go back in for the ball.

    Edinburgh 0-0 Munster

Imperious defence from Munster. All of Edinburgh's big men -Watson, Mata, Schoeman- have a go. But again Pascal Gauzere awards the penalty to the men in red. It looks like John Ryan who has got his hand on the ball there.

  16. Sin-bin- Tadgh Beirnepublished at 12 mins

    Edinburgh 0-0 Munster

Munster's second row goes in the bin for killing the ball there. Edinburgh kick to the corner and are now driving for the line...

Sloppy from the visitors. Niall Scannell loses the ball, and John Barclay of all people hacks it down field. Duhan Van der Merwe gathers and Edinburgh are away. Billy Holland makes a tackle but Edinburgh get the penalty.

    Edinburgh 0-0 Munster

Plenty of tactical kicking going on here. It's like ping-pong. Andrew Conway chips and gathers and Munster have the ball in the Edinburgh 22.

  19. Postpublished at 8 mins

    Edinburgh 0-0 Munster

Edinburgh are in possession on halfway, but it's very slow. The ball is hoisted high by Jaco Van der Walt and Munster gather and come forward now.

  20. Postpublished at 6 mins

    Edinburgh 0-0 Munster

They went for it, but Munster expertly halted the drive in its tracks. Pierre Schoeman and Hamish Watson are among those to batter it up. But it's incredible defence by Munster, and they win the penalty at the ruck.

    Cue celebrations.
