    England 10-0 New Zealand

    Andrew Mehrtens
Former New Zealand fly-half on BBC Radio 5 Live

The All Blacks will be very happy that England didn't get to sign the scorecard first the in the second half. He just got under it a little, Elliot Daly, didn't catch it as cleanly as he can.

Fine for distance. Not for direction.

Just wide of the sticks from Elliot Daly...

    Now then...

Ben Youngs is impeded by Sam Whitelock as he attempts to pounce on some loose ball. Not quck subtle enough from the All Black.

    Penalty on halfway.

And Owen Farrell calls up the massive boot of Elliot Daly for a shot at goal...

    England 10-0 New Zealand

    Matt Dawson
England World Cup winner on BBC Radio 5 Live

We're never happy as England fans are we? We're 10 points up against the All Blacks in a World Cup semi-final! We'd take that all day. I'd rather be in a white shirt now than in any other team in the world.

Charlie Usher: Curryhill have dominated the breakdown, they are a world class pairing

Alex Haworth: This is going to be so close. There's no way the All Blacks will be that poor again in the second half

Matthew Harris: New Zealand are going to come out for the second half like a storm of hammers

In fact, it was the first try the All Blacks have conceded in the first half at this tournament.

    HT: England 10-0 New Zealand

    Tom Fordyce
BBC chief sports writer at International Stadium Yokohama

England supporters around this stadium stunned in the most beautiful way by that first half. There is always the latent fear of what the All Blacks will do once they find their sweet groove, and surely neither side can keep up this pace, but for right now this is the stuff of dreams for the men in white.

The UK High Commissioner to New Zealand likes her posting so much she married a Kiwi.

And she has bet her husband on the outcome of the result.

At the moment, she won't need to measure up for an All Black jersey.

If Farrell goes off, it's all on Ford's shoulders to keep the team moving forwards. Farrell is hugely influential. The longer England can keep him on, as long as he's not a physical liability, his mental strength will help England over the course of the second half.

  17. Massive decisions coming uppublished at 09:59 British Summer Time 26 October 2019

    HT: England 10-0 New Zealand

Eddie Jones and Steve Hansen have some big replacment decisions to make as well as a pep talk to deliver.

Owen Farrrell looked like he had picked up a significant knock around the half an hour-mark. Will he shake it off or succumb? Henry Slade is on the bench, as is Jonathan Joseph.

Might Hansen decide that Underhill, Curry and Itoje are too much of a nuisance at the breakdown. He has specialist Sam Cane on the bench and Scott Barrett has not managed to burgle much line-out ball...

  18. 'Probably the best 40 minutes under Eddie Jones'published at 09:58 British Summer Time 26 October 2019

    HT: England 10-0 New Zealand

    Paul Grayson
Former England fly-half on BBC Radio 5 Live

That was probably the best 40 mins for England under Eddie Jones. Their ability to create overlaps and test New Zealand while delivering pinpoint accurate passing was a joy to behold. New Zealand were hanging on, they could have been two or three scores down. The All Blacks were as ragged as I've seen them for a long time.

    Matt Dawson
England World Cup winner on BBC Radio 5 Live

It's difficult to play like that for 80 minutes because it saps your energy. It's constant the whole way through. It's going to be a battle of the benches for me now, who has got the better finishers? They're probably going to win it.
