Wales haven't been great under the high ball in this World Cup, but Leigh Halfpenny is world class in that department and George North should be catching the ones that come his way - if we can win that battle, it will go a long way towards us winning this game
Matt Dawson
England World Cup winner on BBC Radio 5 Live
He’s taken on that responsibility, even with Leigh Halfpenny coming in, but Dan Biggar really wants it.
Dan Biggar
No mistake from Dan Biggar. It's as you were...
Wales 0-3 South Africa

It might be Gareth Davies' 50th cap but it is his opposite number Faf de Klerk at the moment who is running this game.
His probing kicks are troubling Wales and he is conversing effectively with French referee Jerome Garces by pointing out Jutsin Tipuric was not rolling away from a ruck. The penalty was awarded and Pollard slots over the opening points.
Wales 0-3 South Africa
George North scampers over to the left to join the line, and takes the ball at pace.
He helps on to fellow wing Josh Adams but there's quick scrambling Springbok defence. But Willie le Roux is too keen... he strays offside and Wales get a chance to hit back immediately.

Zeb Bowyer: This opening 10 minutes has been diabolical. Nerves all over the place. Neither side will pose a threat to England.
saidmadrid: The Welsh are up for the battle. They have most of the ball and don't look at all intimidated by the South African physicality
Wales 0-3 South Africa

BBC rugby union correspondent at International Stadium Yokohama
We thought this might be a little bit of an arm-wrestle, and it’s proving to be.
Wales 0-3 South Africa
Tom Shanklin
Former Wales international on BBC Radio 5 Live
Sensible play from South Africa, nothing too flash. Tipuric gets stuck on the wrong side – easy penalty.
Handre Pollard
Over it goes.
South Africa stick the first points on the board.
Wales 0-0 South Africa
There's nothing in these packs. The scrum is set like concrete.
Faf de Klerk looks for a winding left boot this time with Makazole Mapimpi making chase. George North collects, but there was a Wales infringement earlier in the move - Justin Tipuric flagged for not rolling away - and Handre Pollard will have a shot at the sticks...
Wales 0-0 South Africa
That's an awkward kick to deal with, and Gareth Davies and Leigh Halfpenny run into each other trying to grab the loose ball - it's Faf de Klerk again causing mayhem.
South Africa get the scrum around 30 metres from the Wales line.
Wales 0-0 South Africa

Good signs, they have not looked this dangerous for quite a few games.
Wales 0-0 South Africa
Gareth Griffiths
BBC Sport Wales at International Stadium Yokohama
There was a lot of talk in the pre-match build-up about the kicking game and there has been much of that tactic already employed by both sides in the opening exchanges.
Expect the ball to be up in the Yokohama skies a lot this evening
Wales 0-0 South Africa
George North senses a first chance to run at the Sprinboks defence as he wriggles down the flank after Wales go blind from the scrum.
Warren Gatland's side fling it through hands along the line and find Josh Adams with space to accelerate into out left... but there was a forward pass in there somewhere.
Slick hands, though, and that gets the crowd going.
Wales 0-0 South Africa
Adrian Hadley

There's a big difference between Wales and South Africa - they like to kick to get the ball off the field. We like to keep the ball on the field.
Wales 0-0 South Africa
Leigh Halfpenny must have springs in his boots.
He out-jumps Le Roux to grab a cross-field kick pass.
Wales boot it back South Africa's way. It's a tactical, territorial battle so far.
Matt Dawson
England World Cup winner on BBC Radio 5 Live
De Klerk has great vision, a great boot – you need to shut him out. He knows he is under pressure.
Wales 0-0 South Africa
Alun Wyn Jones, front and centre, wrapping up Willie le Roux on the ground to win Wales a penalty inside their own half.
Dan Biggar lashes it into touch just outside the South Africa 22.
Wales 0-0 South Africa
First opportunity to get one up on the opposing pack...
The scrum's not moving, but Faf de Klerk is... the Springboks scrum-half picks and goes from the back, before dinking a kick into Welsh territory.
He's already looking lively.
