    Racing 92 12-15 Saracens

Heroic stuff from Calum Clark and Dom Morris off the bench as they combine to strip possession from a Racing attacker.

The ball spilled forward off a French hand and it is a put in to Saracens in the shadow of their own posts.

My money is still on Sarries. When did you last see them lose a game as close as this?

    Massive Racing scrum!

    Saracens under immense pressure!

And Nigel Owens blows up. It will be reset with a Racing put-in.

    Just five out.

This is where titles are won and lost...

It has been at least six or seven minutes since Sarries have had some possession in attack.

    Saracens cut to ribbons!

Virimi Vakatawa slices through the middle, leaving Billy Vunipola and Alex Goode in his vapour trails. A superb slung offload to Juan Imhoff. Who is halted just short!

And there is a knock-on as Racing attempt to spin it wide and surely finish the job!

A let-off and a scrum 10 out from their own line for Saracens...

Incredible defence. Billy Vunipola has been inspired in the second half. But that old head Donnacha Ryan shows uses an opportunity to get his hands on the ball and Nigel Owens was so quick to blow and say go on there you go under the posts.

    Maxime Machenaud

We are heading for a grandstand finish.

    Penalty to Racing!

Maro Itoje pilfered some loose ball, but did not release when he was tackled round the fringe.

This is bang in front. And Machenaud will surely make it three points...

Brad Barritt is right in the landing zone as debris from a collision between Michael Rhodes and Donnacha Ryan comes raining down.

He takes a knock to the bonce and is going off for a head injury assessment. Manu Vunipola on.

Finn Russell percentages are starting to get a little thin.

The Scotland playmaker throws a wide pass that is a bit behind Simon Zebo. The full-back does well to grab and hold that one.

But Donnacha Ryan spills an offload Russell aims at his knees from off the floor.

    Scrum down black.

Racing claims the line-out cleanly inside the Saracens' 22m. A period of pressure incoming for the men in black...

    Racing 92 9-15 Saracens

Racing attempt something out of the playbook, splitting the two line-out pods and trying to pick out Maxime Machenaud on the burst through the middle.

The scrum-half doesn't take it cleanly. But that is a reminder of the tightrope that Saracens are walking.

They are one converted score from going behind here. Into the final quarter...

Sean Maitland is pinged for not releasing the tackled man. A bit too quick for his own good over the top of the breakdown there.

There are going to be plenty of fans who feel there should be an asterisk on the start of the Saracens jersey.

But time after time they have proven they are the best side in the northern hemisphere.

Ball hits the floor as Finn Russell tips the ball on looking for quick width.

    Saracens hack upfield!

A hounds-of-hell chase. Alex Lewington is winning the race, he gathers, line at his mercy and stumbles and...falls!

The Racing defence swarms back and snuffs out the danger.

How might that figure in the final audit?

    Dom Morris!

An electric break from the Saracens replacement. He carves through the heart of the Racing midfield and brushes aside Teddy Iribaren.

A superb cover tackle from Antonie Classen though. And the Racing centre Olivier Klemenczak is first over the breakdown to win the turnover.
