  1. try

Try Scotland 29-7 Georgiapublished at 21:04 British Summer Time 23 October 2020

    Stuart McInally

Yup. Georgia know what's coming but they can't do much about it and replacement hooker Stuart McInally touches down.

Adam Hastings gets it right with the extras this time.

    Scotland 22-7 Georgia

A penalty in front of the posts. Blair Kinghorn kicks to touch. Another catch and drive?

  3. Postpublished at 20:59 British Summer Time 23 October 2020

    Scotland 22-7 Georgia

Finn Russell has injected some extra pace and Scotland really should be looking at try number five but Hamish Watson and Adam Hastings are not quite on the same wavelength and a great chance is wasted.

  4. Postpublished at 20:57 British Summer Time 23 October 2020

    Scotland 22-7 Georgia

Finn Russell and Adam Hastings combine with two fiery passes and Darcy Graham is almost in for a try but the wee winger is stopped just short.

  5. Russell off the bench, but not for Hastingspublished at 20:55 British Summer Time 23 October 2020

    Scotland 22-7 Georgia

Here comes the first wave of Scotland replacements - and Finn Russell is on for his 50th cap.

Stuart McInally. Oli Kebble and Simon Berghan are on too.

That's a new front row and this is South Africa-born Kebble's debut.

It's centre James Lang making way for Russell, so it looks like Adam Hastings stays at 1o.

  6. try

Try Scotland 22-7 Georgiapublished at 20:50 British Summer Time 23 October 2020

    Fraser Brown

Another drive from a line-out and Fraser Brown is in for his second try of the evening.

    Almost identical to his first.

Adam Hastings hits the post again! He's missed three from four.

  7. Postpublished at 20:48 British Summer Time 23 October 2020

    Scotland 17-7 Georgia

Pick and go, pick and go. Scotland try to simply batter their way through and are inches from the line.

The ball pops loose at a crucial moment and TV replays show Georgian hands getting to the scraps first.

The Scots will get to go again, since there was an infringement or two in there.

It's fantastic refereeing. We were all looking at the pass, not whether a Scottish player touched it.

  9. try

Try Scotland 17-7 Georgiapublished at 20:43 British Summer Time 23 October 2020

    Akaki Tabutsadze

Well, well. TV replays show the pass coming off the fingertips of Scott Cummings, so the try stands after all.

And the conversion is good too.

  10. TMO time againpublished at 20:41 British Summer Time 23 October 2020

    Scotland 17-0 Georgia

Akaki Tabutsadze is celebrating a try but the pass to the Georgia winger is quite obviously forward.

  11. Postpublished at 20:39 British Summer Time 23 October 2020

    Scotland 17-0 Georgia

Adam Hastings makes a mess of gathering under very little pressure and we'll have another scrum. It's all been a bit scruffy since the restart.

  12. Kick-offpublished at 20:35 British Summer Time 23 October 2020

    Scotland 17-0 Georgia

And we're up and running again at Murrayfield.

I would like to see more width. Finn Russell will come on and help with that.

Scotland have complete control and they just need to keep doing what they are doing. The platform is there for a really good second half

  15. Three and easy for Scots...published at 20:28 British Summer Time 23 October 2020

    HT: Scotland 17-0 Scotland

Darcy Graham got the ball rolling with that early score, while Fraser Brown and Hamish Watson also got in on the act.

The Georgians looked pretty knackered as they trudged off at the interval, so we should see a few more tries in the second half.

  16. Half-time Scotland 17-0 Georgiapublished at 20:22 British Summer Time 23 October 2020

A pretty comfortable evening for Scotland so far, with three tries on the board.

The forwards are running the show for Gregor Townsend's side, with the backs yet to catch fire.

No, is the answer. The TV replays are not the best and Fraser Brown, probably, is denied a second try.

  18. try

TMO reviewpublished at 20:19 British Summer Time 23 October 2020

    Scotland 17-0 Georgia

The TMO is having a look. Scotland got the ball over but was it grounded?

  19. Postpublished at 20:18 British Summer Time 23 October 2020

    Scotland 17-0 Georgia

The clock is in the red as Scotland probe for an opening. Blair Kinghorn clips a kick over the top but a covering defender gets there before Darcy Graham.

With an advantage in their favour, Scotland go again...

I've been impressed with Rory Sutherland. The front row as a whole have done well.
