Crumbs in the air turned into gold for South Africa.
Cheslin Kolbe, who has been quiet and lacked opportunities on this tour so far, has shown when given space why he is one of the most dangerous finishers in world rugby.
Cheslin Kolbe (con Handre Pollard)
Brilliant finish!
It takes a while to be confirmed but the Boks take the lead.
Jasper Wiese jumps for the ball but it appears to go back off his hand and up off his shoulder.
The hosts claim the loose ball and they're off. It's fed wide to Cheslin Kolbe, who does all the rest.
As they say, he could beat you in a phone box. Maybe even two of you.
Handre Pollard adds the extras.
Handre Pollard
Handre Pollard has been a reliable kicker so far in this series, but he misses a second penalty in quick succession.
The Boks would have taken the lead if he had sunk both of them, but the Lions remain in front.
Will veteran Morne Steyn be asked to warm up?

It's just a penalty and Finn Russell remains on the field.
Cheslin Kolbe does appear to slip, and that helps Russell's case.

Now then.
Finn Russell could be in trouble here.
He appears to makes direct contact with the head of Cheslin Kolbe in the tackle.
Did the Springbok winger slip? Is there any mitigation?
It looks a bit hairy and could be a huge moment in this series.

But his penalty clatters into the upright and the ball is gathered by the Lions under their own sticks.
Chance missed.

Now Eben Etzebeth is receiving treatment from the medics.
That could be the biggest ice pack I've ever seen slumped on his shoulder.
But then he is not exactly lacking in size!

The Lions have been the better team and deserving of their lead.
The trend of the series are teams playing for only 40 minutes: Lions superb in the second half of the first Test and South Africa the same in the second.
Huge 40 minutes ahead for both sides with everything on the line STILL!

The Lions have to keep being bold. They’ve done so much well but also missed too many opportunities.
Given Russell’s swagger at the moment, they had to give him the ball rather than trying to pick and drive to the line.
Jasper Wiese is not penalised as he enters the ruck below the red shirt in his way.
That is now half-time.
Time for a breather!
