Today is perfect window for Sam Simmonds to showcase what he has been doing all season long. We know he has been at this level for a while now.

Exeter will not be weighed down by their status as holders when they take on Leinster in the Champions Cup quarter-final, says centre Henry Slade.

Exeter are slight underdogs in the betting market compared to four-time winners and Pro14 champions Leinster.

"History means nothing," Slade said. "It's all about what we are doing now.

"Against Lyon I wasn't thinking 'if we lose, we lose our title'. We want to be positive and think how great it'll be to win it this year."

Exeter boss Rob Baxter has made two front-row changes for the holders' Champions Cup quarter-final against Leinster on Saturday.

For four-time winners Leinster, Scott Fardy replaces Ryan Baird in the second row as Johnny Sexton captains the side.

Exeter: Hogg; Woodburn, Slade, Devoto, O'Flaherty, J Simmonds, Maunder; Moon, Cowan-Dickie, Francis, Gray, Hill, Ewers, Vermeulen, S Simmonds.
